Why does Reddit have so many troons?

I'd use the term "troon" lightly when talking about how many of them are on Reddit, as they're more likely to be AGPs. When ugly men discover that they really can't reel in a 2/10 gf they decide to become the gf themselves and transition into a woman. They have some preconceived notion that this will somehow "broaden" their dating horizons because - much like CWC - they think that they can somehow appeal to lesbian women, despite having a "girldick".
It's not all sunshine and rainbows though, as the detransition subreddit has a lot of users, too, mostly being MTFs. It's just something beta males do because they think being trans will help them get laid (it doesn't).

I don't think sub categorising them actually makes much difference. As @Ethical Nightmare said, both types (homosexual/heterosexual or truscum/tucute) are toxic and disturbed.

Honestly? If Kiera did lie to her therapist back when she started transition, she was a 15 year old girl. What kind of therapist gets fooled by a child.

I'd throw it out there that lying to clinicians is often encouraged, especially in cases where the clinician is not believed to be so "enlightened." Moreover, even when lying is not explicitly encouraged, the spectre of rejection is always there to push a patient to distort their story to make it seem more acceptable and pure. And, there's no reason (in their mind) to be open to a therapist, since they know that they are 'trans' therefore clinicians are really just gate-keepers obstructing the realization of their "true" identities.

For people who have felt extreme discomfort with their body for years and have already tried alternatives like therapy, I think transitioning may actually help. Again, I'm probably because of my lack of knowledge and bias, but are you sure doctors have that much of a hard time just replacing a vag with a dick and vice-versa?
I always assumed that the reason why many tranies couldn't get surgeries were due to the general health care system or how to experience it would be

And the ones I do see seem to be just fine. (But it's probably because I have horrible eye / extremely low bar when it comes to passing, I'm not a crazy autistic looking at every shoulder's or adam's apples to see that there trans)

I always assumed that, with how transhumanism technology is getting rapidly better and closer to fiction, and if just going to the doctor wasn't a fiscal disaster in American, I felt like that 90% of the folks being cover here problems would be solved if they just go get surgery and be normal

cutting off a dick and balls is simple and easy
amputation of female breasts is manageable
tearing out a vag and the connected internal organs is difficult and very invasive but still possible

digging a hole in the flesh between the legs and calling it a neo-vag is butchery and just results in a permanent wound cavity
making a "neo-penis" out of rolled skin flaps results in frankenstein looking abominations

removing existing parts from a persons body can be done. creating new parts to replace them with is pretty much impossible, so far everything that has been tried can only be described as a crude and grotesque mockery of the real thing, and completely dysfunctional.

Yes, we're sure. You cannot give a person with a faulty heart a new heart by taking out a lobe of their liver, carving it into the shape of a heart, and shoving it where their heart would normally be and expect it to help circulate the blood. Same thing with our reproductive organs.

you can’t just “replace” a dick with a vagina and vice versa. i mean, you can definitely create something that looks sort of like a dick or a vagina, it just won’t look real or natural, because it’s not. transgender people are a goldmine for plastic surgeons because they’re more than willing to get invasive experimental procedures, even though they still kill themselves afterwards. also, trannies tend to crowdfund their surgeries so i don’t really believe that money is an issue. i truly hope that SRS remains expensive so people don’t invert their penises en masse. feel free to browse r/transgender_surgeries and let me know if any of those neo-vaginas look “passable” to you.
