Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

So much of the stress of being the "unwilling figurehead" of ComicsGate came from the endless conflict with WC elements, Doug TenNapel acolytes and Liam Gray types. The sigh of relief that comes from all of those retards being out of my field of view is wonderful. I feel like I'm breathing fresh air, and I can continue with CG.
You probably could have dodged like 90% of that stress by ditching WC sooner instead of waiting until they went after your friends to be honest. Most of the internal drama leads back to them in some form with a sprinkling of "lol those rascals" from you.

He's had 9 projects on IGG and earned $209K, and 4 projects on KS and earned $209K there as well.

$418,000 for 13 campaigns.

Cecil made $260K on his only campaign so far.
I'd love to see how Cash Grab would do on KS.

Cecil's success is a direct result of his association with you and his spite marketing against TenNaple.

Lim's growth on KS is hard to attribute to anything other than consistency of quality and timeliness creating positive buzz and organic growth.

I very much doubt that Cecil's self insert ComicsGate in-joke comic would gather any new customers. Any money Cecil would make of a KS campaign would likely be from someone who is already waiting for his overdue IGG copy and is dumb enough to throw money at it again to "fight the SJW's".

If he got an EVS cover for it maybe he could make some money. Cows are simple to milk after all when you have access to a milking machine.

WarCampaign went after Ethan's "friends" with his full support until they got too big for their britches and started harassing unapproved targets.

The "lol those rascals" bit was always bullshit.

Jon having no dignity decided to tongue punch your fart box and see if it would get him back in your good graces so he could access a hint of your simp following and he "succeeded". Like Disney taking back James Gunn you took back JDA.

There is less than zero dignity in any of that.
Even if it didn't get me a dollar, which I'm not entirely certain it has because I do have my own audience and this project really caters to them beyond any of the others so far, not to mention I haven't gone on his show, it's worth it just to see you get mad on kiwifarms dot com.

Time for another Comicsgate News Update

FROM INDIEGOGO
Jon Del Arroz/@TheCosmicWarrior has fired out of the gate with his latest offering Deus Vult: A Crusader Fantasy Graphic Novel having the best first day, I assume, since Flying Sparks #1. The book features fantastic looking art in the vein of Steve Ditko and is described as a tribute to the Golden Age era. The story features Sir Domingo, Spanish Knight and Holy Crusader, seeking the Holy Grail which leads him to another realm to face demons and monsters. The book has currently raised $9,345 from 190 backers and has 29 days remaining.

dv.PNG

The book is doing so well it's entered the top 10 Comicsgate projects for 2021, knocking Star Circuit from the 10th spot and will overtake BONDS: The Drive once the page updates.

The book was previously in competition with Micah Curtis's Three Knights, Four Days, since both creators despise each other and have similarly themed books. At $22,870 from 401 backers, Jon is almost at the halfway point Good luck Jon.

Zack recently posted a series of updates on the Expendables: Go To Hell informing his backers that sketches and prints have begun to be shipped out. While there's no mention of the books themselves, it would appear fulfillment has begun in some form.

Graveyard Shift 3 featured an update from Jon Malin which updated the backers on the current progress of the book. It would appear the Supplemental Book will be increased by 10 pages with a short story by Narwhal. Shinobi Sasquatch artist Rob Willis also appears to have been removed from the book, Willis was facing criticism over the lateness of his own book when he accepted the work with Jon and appears to have been removed for not meeting deadlines.

Good news for backers of Warts And All, as @FROG recently posted a lengthy update to the campaign informing backers the campaign was on schedule. The books are printed and currently being shipped to the US from overseas, to read the entire update check the link below.

It's official Starblades will be published by ALL CAPS COMICS, Ethan took the opportunity to reassure backers that their book will be coming in "a timely and quality fashion" given that it's currently 13 months overdue. Starblades joins an impressive line up of ALL CAPS titles including Cyberfrog, Reignbow Brute, Matthew Martin's The Snowman and Trent Kaniuga's Creed.
All attention on twitter still seems focused on the recent fallout between Liam Gray and his former partner/artist Ody Theodoratos and the Nerd Wonder stuff, which has already been shared to the thread. This tweet from Ody seemed rather cryptic given his previous assertions he was underpaid.

Liam meanwhile put out a tweet gloating that he was the victim of a failed cancellation attempt stating "Sorry guys. You can't cancel me. I am a God-Tier creator--A KING MAKER--you ain't seen NOTHING' yet!" Will everybody's favorite ginger lolcow be vindicated? In this reporters humble opinion, the answer is happily no.

FROM YOUTUBE
Kiwifarms own @VIkkiVerse put out quite an informative video on the Martina Markota situation going through an extensive timeline of events.

Vikki was then joined by co-host DA Talks who gave a dramatic reading of one of Piper's stalkers simp's blogpost on why he wasn't a simp. Other topics included the reading of Jack Buckby's DMs posted here on the farms, with a rare appearance of @FROG in the live chat!

The dynamic duo would then cycle onto DA Talks channel for their latest installment of the CGDG streams, this time focusing on the Liam Gray and Ody split.

Kiwifarms own @NasserRabadi13 had quite an entertaining launch stream for Deus Vult, which featured @FROG burning multiple copies of Xenotype. The panel was also joined by @TheCosmicWarrior, @TESTEFY-HD and Mike S Miller.

Preston Poulter clipped the fiery ordeal and produced a video that actually received praise from @FROG

capc.PNG

Preston previously reported on the current sense of "Malaise" in Comicsgate that had recently been discussed on various Comicsgate channels and here on the farms.

Ethan reports on the recent rumors of DC Comics being sold off by AT&T

While Comics Perch hypothesizes on what a potential sale of DC Comics could look like.

Well that's all the news for now, obviously the current drama unfolding around Liam, Ody and Nerd Wonder currently takes center stage. Liam disputed Ody's page rate payments in a video here, showing what appeared to be paypal payments to Ody's account. I had a good laugh at Micah Curtis's take in the comment section.

mcc.PNG

@NasserRabadi13 didn't this bulbous fuck claim that you were grifting your artist on Asyl? Then the artist himself came out and told Micah to shut the fuck up? Looks like now according to Micah "Anyone who has stated publicly that Ody wasn't paid anything is a liar, and probably should have kept quiet until a response came out." Guess his stance on artists and payment rates has changed recently huh? :lit:

As always take care and stay safe out there. :bluelabel:

I'm not angry Jon. I haven't liked you since you were Renfamous' lackey trying to destroy Ethan in 2018. Now you're Ethan's bitch. I haven't taken CG seriously in over a year now and I joined the farms to laugh at you clowns. If I was still angry I'd still be wasting time on Twitter. It's just entertainment now and the fact you lolcows feel the need to validate yourselves to anons on Kiwi Farms is a bonus.

Watching and commenting when you supplicate yourself to big daddy Van Sciver after the way he ruined your prospects is almost as entertaining for me as it has to be for him.

Then why compare the two?
Ask Ethan. It was his comparison I was commenting on.

You and Juan of the Rice aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Thank you for reporting - Flying Sparks volume 1 actually hit $3,500 on day one and around $5,000 on day two. So DEUS VULT is soundly beating my first book before the great ComicsGate schism and is by far my biggest success.

My entire goal at this point is to beat Micah Curtis' book. It needs to be done, for the children.

I think both can be true.

Had Liam worked out his postage issues by using a US based fulfillment service there would have been 10's of thousands more dollars to split up between them not to mention Liam's other fuck ups like having it printed upside down and inside out or whatever.

But you're wasting your time on here. So what’s the difference? You laugh at these “clowns“ but, they keep on creating and making more money with every book, while you just come off looking like an angry little boy with nothing to show for it.

Like Disney taking back James Gunn you took back JDA.
I might be in the minority here, but Gunn getting shit-canned was just as retarded as Gina Carano getting shit-canned. You gotta look past distaste for particular political views.

I am old enough to have seen the classic Troma movies. The guy is a protege of Lloyd Kaufman. The humor he displayed in those ancient tweets is about on par with that. Crude, and not particularly funny, but totally harmless.

I think you're right about KAMEN 4 making 6 figures on KS.
Mind you, KA2 already broke 100K when you combine KS and IGG. Plus, there's continuing sales from Iconic Comics that we'll possibly never get figures for. KA3 will easily surpass that, when all is said and done.

That's why I don't see the point in bifurcating by funding platform. Unless you're looking to artificially deflate revenue figures. Liam stepping on his dick by trying to do that, and even WC called him a fucking idiot.

Other CGers who are doing sequels will also experience the same growth. That's my prediction.
We shall see. One thing I admire about Lim is his exceptional work ethic. That's gonna serve him well moving forward.

But you're wasting your time on here. So what’s the difference?
Of course I'm wasting my time here. That's what this forum is for. Getting a little entertainment out of cows like Nasser, JDA and Ethan among others. I'll have a laugh while others simp. You do you.

If you aren't here to waste a few minutes because it beats watching The Goldbergs why are you here?

(Don't answer that. It's obvious why you're here.)

I might be in the minority here, but Gunn getting shit-canned was just as retarded as Gina Carano getting shit-canned.
Yeah, I thought Gunn getting canceled was BS but I thought everyone who's ever been canceled was BS.

That said, I think Gunn is a scum bag and not for his politics. The edgy tweets alone are no big deal but the edgy tweets, the pedo friends and the pedo themed party pics are enough for me to think it would be no tragedy if Gunn walked in front of a bus.

That said, I don't begrudge anyone their Michael Jackson or Bill Cosby albums and I think The Pianist was a brilliant piece of cinema by a guy who belongs in a gulag.

Edit *wrong piano movie

Yes. And the videos I made about him while my channel were struck did better than anything I put out in that span of time.

micah doesnt realize how many people dont lime him.

Having trouble using "insert media" from my phone while at work so here are the links:

The silent one to watch right now is Yellowflash, who is rumored to be working on his own project. Flash has a larger channel than most and his audience extends through Comicsgate, Weeb Wars and The Fandom Menace. He can probably expect to be promoted by Ethan, TUG, Nick Rekieta, Raging Golden Eagle, That Star War Girl and possibly The Quartering which will grant him access to a massive pool of potential customers. I'd expect a Yellowflash book to surpass most CG books, earning somewhere between 300-500K.
It's weird, because I've watched some of these fan Discords and what-not. When it comes right down to it a lot of them prefer to just talk about the show or book and move away from raging at the SJW shit. Nick Rekieta's Discord, for example, really prefers to just talk about the lore of 40k, or the history of Marvel rather than rage incoherently around the fact that a black woman is playing Batwoman. That's why whenever you hear about Yellowcuck2 joining his stream, or that Rackets is going to be on Heelvsbabyface the Discord--where his most loyal paypigs are--doesn't get as googly-eyed about the upcoming episode. When he announces he's having an anti-SJW "personality" (that's in quotations because none of them have an actual personality) on his show the crowd goes mild. Yellowcuck has the audience he's going to get from all these people because of cross-over so I don't think he's going to get as much as you think, even with @FROG promoting it.

Time has had thirteen campaigns, and how many of them were completed and fulfilled? Then you look at the rest of Comicsgate and you see habitual "We're gonna' be late by like a year" or some shit. If I were some type of investor I'd be looking at the growth of Tim's products and support as well as his dedication and commitment to fulfilling them before starting a new IGG campaign and invest in that before I'd invest in the vast majority of Comicsgate. Fulfillment and growth beats out "look at all this money I sucked in on one project that is late by eight months minimum" any day.

My two cents on this.

Definetely not the only one.
Even YBZ was furious at James Gunn getting fired, before EVS told him that the party line is different.

I see both twitter activists and antiSJWs as enjoying their daily Two Minutes Hate and then proceed with lives as usual. It is a diversion, a way to feel some outrage before they go on with their lives.
And also it is part of the tribalism of those movements: you fight the enemies, then chill with your own.

The people who can't shut up are either shills or psychos

I don't know. Rackets doesn't seem to rag on SJWs as much as other individuals do, because it's not his schtick. He might make jokes or what-have-you but he doesn't revolve entire episodes around them until he invites people like Yellowcuck or ThatUmbrellaCuck on and then they turn it into an SJW bitchfest and Rackets just goes along with it. You kind of see this in his content as well, specifically around the Vic/Weeb Wars case: TUG and YF wanted to make this an anti-SJW crusade and Rackets pretty much cut them off, saying it wasn't really an SJW issue, but rather two fat pigs who wanted to go after someone who, very likely, turned down their sexual advances or were jealous he never showed interest in them that way. That's why they don't really talk about the case itself but rather "Look at this SJW shit FUNimation is doing now!" or laughing at the other defendants in the case and gloss over the case itself. As I said, Rackets focuses more on the escapism itself: the lore behind 40k, talking about Marvelverse, or just playing games when he's not doing a law stream and that's why people sub to him. He simply doesn't have the rabid neckbeard audience that the other retards have cultivatedd.

All. On time. And with product quality that exceeded expectations.

Even the fucking packing material was exceptionally good.

Exactly.

I am serious when I say Tim Lim has the best work ethic and honesty I have seen from an online campaign in a long time. It's the very antithesis of shitheels like Liam Grey.

For that matter, Soyrage/Stupendous delivers too. It's just that he delivers... uhhh... well...

I have no decent answer for why I bought these. Don't judge me!

I have a friend who does investment banking, and he invests personally on the side. Just to give you some backstory on this guy, he was a committed communist before he got an economics degree and understood it. He's definitely more left-of-center still but he isn't a lost cause. Anyways, I put the following to him:

Would you rather invest in someone who put out a few products that made quite a bit of money each time but was consistently late and rehashed his established IPs and gets away with it because he has name recognition, or would you invest in someone who didn't have name recognition but had thirteen products all fulfilled on time and has seen consistent growth with his KS campaigns and more people are giving him money to continue?

His answer was simple: if it's for short-term gains and you're not really caring about what's going on, he'd invest in EVS. If he was aiming for more long-term gains, he'd invest in Tim because constant growth means a better rate of return or something. By the way, he knows who EVS is as he's an avid Marvel and DC comics fan and he's actually pretty upset that EVS is the one who was late. He's planning on putting some money into the next KA if it looks as good as the previous ones do, and he's going to be on time.

I guess liam is streaming with micah and beserk guts to "explain everything" and "clear his name" but it's just liam being vague all "I dunno why anyone hates me, I've done nothing but good, the truth will come out one day, stop lying about me guys"
Some good stuff in this stream. Apparently Liam blames Jon Malin for sowing the first seeds of doubt in Ody's mind after telling him they should just produce smaller books more frequently for higher profits. Ody expressed this to his father, who is reported to have been pretty unhappy with Liam, even though it was supposedly Ody who was insistent upon doing a 200 page book instead of 60, going so far as to do those remaining 140 pages for free, according to Ody's testament on Twitter. And if I'm hearing this right, Liam is also assigning quite a bit of blame to Ody's father for demanding that the book be at a certain price point, despite Liam claiming earlier in the stream that the father knew nothing about this business/industry? Seems unlikely...

Liam goes on to speculate that perhaps Ody grew upset and wanted to distance himself from Liam because Ody wouldn't be able to hit his targets of drawing three pages per day while fulfilling his military obligations. He didn't want to let Liam down, so he lashed out... or something... Also, what's all this nonsense about "training" artists that Liam always goes on about? Apparently Liam is secretly a Kubert with how much knowledge he has to pass down to artists to make them improve not only their art, but their drawing speed, effectively tripling their output after some time in his intensive boot camp.

And in his usual style, Liam claims the truth will come out "eventually" about fuckyourbrainsout-gate. He has the DMs that'll make everyone feel foolish and redirect the hate mob towards Nerd Wonder, but he claims that it's entertaining to see people get mad about this and he wants to get as many people into the hate mob as possible. An interesting strategy that could only be devised by a social chess master. Normally, you'd want to nip this kind of thing in the bud instead of losing as many potential future backers (and artists) as possible, given that many of those people won't be following you or won't give a shit when you reveal the smoking gun. But who am I to question the absolute alpha vagene slayer himself?

Last little bit of humor: Liam claims we've "never seen him get angry" and most of what we see is "showmanship." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know he's claimed before that "Liam Gray" is a character, but holy shit this is insane. I've never met someone this delusional.

I've said this once before but it bears repeating. Liam is so dumb and such a bad business man he left tens of thousands on the table because of exchange rates and by shipping the books out of Australia when most of his backers were US based.

Plus he listened to Ro's advice to a tee and ruined the book.

And his incompetence was so staggering he actually greenlit the book for print without even reading it first to see the pages were assembled correctly. If Ody is to be believed, the pages are out of whack and it's unreadable.

This is a fuck up of monumental order....

I said it several times before it came out that Xenotype would be The Last Jedi of Comicsgate books. I believe my prediction has come to fruition.
