I'll be honest, I don't buy these "Biden regret" tweets. They're funny, but I'm doubtful about their provenance.

Basically, Zucker thought it was best to "help children feel comfortable in their own bodies" first before doing anything rash, and the LGBTQ+ bitched him out saying he was denying their identities. The document will order the development of a national supply chain strategy, and is expected to call for recommendations for supply networks that are less vulnerable to disruptions such as disasters and sanctions by unfriendly countries. Measures will focus on semiconductors, electric-vehicle batteries, rare-earth metals and medical products, according to a draft obtained by Nikkei.

The order states that "working with allies can lead to strong, resilient supply chains," suggesting that international relationships will be central to this plan. Washington is expected to pursue partnerships with Taiwan, Japan and South Korea in chip production and Asia-Pacific economies including Australia in rare earths.


The U.S. plans to share information with allies on supply networks for important products and will look to leverage complementary production. It will consider a framework for speedy sharing of these items in emergencies, as well as discuss securing stockpiles and spare manufacturing capacity. Partners could be asked to do less business with China.

The only way I see Biden agreeing to this is if behind close doors they require EVERY chip fab to build backdoors for the FBI, CIA, NSA, and local law inforcement. I don't see the incentive for Democrats to nuke anyone.
1- You've spent decades dragging Harry Truman for using them and use it as a main talking point in explaining why America is so awful.
2- They will lose international support instantly, and I doubt their media allies will be able to mitigate that big of a shit storm.
3- The green team doesn't even like nuclear energy, even though it's their dream power source.
4- It will drive an even bigger wedge between the democrats and the military, and the democrats view the military as dogs. If they upset them too much, they'll get a hand bit.
5- Dropping traditional bombs indiscriminately kills just as many civilians as a nuclear strike would over time, but since it's a slow tally, it's easier to excuse.
6- The cost of one big ass bomb is less than the cost of hundreds of thousands of small bombs. It's more profitable for the military industrial complex, campaign donors, and lobbyists.
7- The chance for nuclear retaliation would be extremely high, and Russia isn't pointing those things at Oklahoma. Government and military targets are highest priority.

I'm guessing their desire for control of the nuclear strike process is having a tool for intimidation and leverage. They know shooting is a bad idea, but they feel better being the one holding the gun. That, or they legitimately think US nukes will be used against them somehow. That jives with their rhetoric. They don't trust the military at all, and they're the ones that constantly say that the 2nd amendment is pointless for removing a tyrant from power because the government would just start nuking them.

The one positive I take from Trump losing the election is that I think it's more likely now for normies and undecideds to see what the left is REALLY like. If Trump was still in office, it would just be four more years of Orange Man bad.
