I used to watch Stuart Little and Teletubbies. I also owned a Nintendo, one of the first game consoles at the time, but it wasn't the original Nintendo. It was a fake Nintendo with a cassette chip. When my father took me to the store to choose my first game, I saw the tape with "Super Mario Bros" on it and insisted he buy it (even though I don't know the game). My father was astonished and thought and said; "Why is my son so persistent in wanting this game?" he. Then when he watched me play that game, he understood why I wanted that game so much because it is a game that develops intelligence and it is not easy.
However, even at my age, I managed to save the princess in Super Mario Bros. My father could not succeed at all. Later, my father came with a black striped bag in his hand. Inside that bag was the real original Playstation 1, but it was a model that was extra chipped and modified to open pirated games. The first games I played were Disney games. I used to play games like "Alaaddin in Nasira's Revenge", "Star Wars Demolition", "Goofy's Fun house". There was a small TV with scuba and I would sit in front of it as if it were a computer monitor, play like that and play in the room. Also, when I was 2-3 years old, my parents would buy me over 200 VCDs from Disney. Most of it was made up of movies and cartoons. I had a VCD Player and a tape recorder. My Mom and Dad were always at odds.There is a chance that I may have been a little badly affected as I grew up experiencing family quarrels. My grandmother and grandfather lived in a house in Didim. It was a place of their choice. When I was 5 years old, my father decided to go to Didim because my grandmother and grandfather were too old to take care of themselves. When I was 5 years old, we sold our house in Samsun and went to the house in Didim and moved there. However, we did not have the key to the house, so my father climbed a long staircase outside the house to the balcony and broke the window on the balcony door and went in and opened the door to the house like that. We went in too and I, who was tired of the road, slept in the bed of 2 with my father on the left and my mother on the right and me in the middle, but before I went to sleep I was constantly looking around and watching the ceiling.
Because the lamp on the ceiling was shaped, it caught my attention and I watched it like that for a few minutes and then went to sleep. In addition, I used to record a song I liked in a cartoon that I watched on television at this age, by making the microphone of my tape recorder and especially my tape recorder touch the speakers, and when the family got in the car, I would put it on the cassette player in the car and listen for hours. I remember the song. The song has no name but it was an old song that was in an episode of a cartoon I watched at the time.
I recorded a song that was played in the "Nighty Nightmare" episode of the Garfield and Friends cartoon. My parents were so fed up with this song that they sighed when I closed it. But unfortunately, I was a naughty kid with a perverse character at that time when I was 5-6 years old, neglected, naughty, who did not listen to family words. I was a child who was extremely selfish and disobedient to family words, only thinking about his own interests and was powerless enough to do whatever my instinct tells me. In 2007, when I was 8 years old, I had a personal computer for the first time. I had a computer with Arçelik's Intel Pentium 4 HT (3 GHz) (90nm) Prescott architecture processor and Nvidia GeForce 6200 (256 MB) AGP type graphics card and 512 MB DDR2 RAM. The operating system that came with the computer was Windows XP 32-Bit version.The first application I opened on that computer was the Paint application, and while I was spending ink from Paint, I even stopped painting, thinking the ink would run out. I was painting the whole place in a dark blue color in a giant brush mode.
At that time, we had a connection to the internet on the first day we had a computer. We were a Turk Telekom subscriber and since fiber technology was just starting to come out at that time, I think we had a 1st generation ADSL internet back then and it was very slow. At that time, Turkey is not yet in fiber infrastructure, internet we were probably copper as 100%. Even today's ADSL internet comes from devices called DSLAM connected to fiber optic, and thus we have ADSL2 + technology. At that time, the second application I confused after Paint was the Internet Explorer web browser. YouTube and Online Flash games were among the first sites I entered on the Internet. At the time, YouTube was using all Adobe Flash Player and the resolution was between 480p and not HD. YouTube's design,it had a fairly simple and old look.
At that time, as copyright laws were not very developed, I could watch the cartoon I wanted, provided it was in the English language. But of course, at that age, I had accidentally entered websites containing pornography. In 2008-2009, I created my YouTube channel and reached millions of views by playing content. However, the channel was closed in 2010-2011 due to copyright infringement. In those years, I would set up MSN and add people from foreign countries that I didn't know, and I would text them with a few English words I knew at the time. Even strangely, the other party's; "Hello? What happened?" or "What is your purpose?" I remember that they wrote something like in English even though I read them at such a young age.
Unlike other kids, I never spent my childhood playing GTA. I would play Chicken Invaders 2 and 3 and I would play Flash games or games that use the DirectX 8 game engine that takes up a few MB of space. I had never been able to play those games during my childhood, as my family was against young children playing the bloody and violent games of fighting. I grew up with a completely Disney-child or infant-like education. Also, I was writing Turkish subtitles by listening to my favorite cartoons in 2008-2009 with a program called DivX Author. Also at that time, I had a recorder with Arçelik's 160 GB Hardisk connected with my own Scart. With this device, I was able to record all channels on Digiturk as I wanted. I was about 9 to 10 years old in 2008-2009.
After I finished the subtitle work with DivX Author, I would render the video as .mkv or .avi and burn it to DVD. Later, I would insert the DVD into the Disc input of the device with the ability to record images from Satellite, and when I played it I would see the subtitles I wrote on the device and I could turn the subtitle off on the device whenever I wanted. In 2008-2009, I also started singing my favorite cartoon songs. In 2010-2011, my father bought me my first personal laptop (Dell Inspiron N5010). This laptop had an Intel core i3 m370 (2.4 GHz) processor and ATI Mobility HD 5470 (512 MB) graphics card, and the amount of RAM in the system was 3 GB (2 GB RAM + 1 GB RAM). During this period, I was around 10-11 years old and was looking for a premium account for download sites like Hotfile and Rapidshare. In October 2015, I asked my mom for a new laptop. This laptop is; It was the "Toshiba Satellite P50-B-11U" model. Its processor was Intel Core i7 4720HQ and the graphics card was AMD R9 M265X (2 GB GDDR5) and the RAM capacity was 16 GB DDRL3L (1600 MHz) rams. The screen resolution is 1920x1080 and the laptop I am currently using while writing this blog is the Toshiba Satellite P50-B-11U, the laptop I wanted from my mother in 2015. At that time, I was originally going to ask for the MSI GE72 Apache Pro gaming laptop, but unfortunately my mother was banned from using her credit card for a while. For this reason, he could not make installments by credit card. At that time, Bimeks was the only company that made cash payments and the most powerful laptop I saw in that store at that time on the site; It was "Toshiba Satellite P50-B-11U".
