It also doesn't take race into account. I get why, but when you look at the data it doesn't make sense. East Asians, for example, get sicker from weight-related diseases at lower BMIs than West Africans.

Yo I'm not sure that "dire" is the word we want for this fatbody shit. It's just too serious of a term. Over in my pozzed area, you're not allowed on the bus if you're not wearing a mask. They also have security cameras on every bus and the driver is located near the door. Trains and longer buses have guards patrolling on the inside that occasionally check for fares and (presumably) masking. What are the odds one of these people will let you off the hook?

I absolutely don't mind wearing a mask on the bus. People on buses are more often than not, dirty, especially on the route I take. Several times the bus has had to pull over to wait for transit security because of some drunk asshole, and there's one particular guy who is a regular that stinks up the entire bus. You can't even switch seats to avoid that sickly sweet BO smell the homeless often reek of.

At least on a plane, people are more civilized (on regular airlines, not that Spirit shit, which is just a flying bus). Plus you can munch leisurely on M&M's to avoid keeping the mask on the entire flight.

The only question is whether your governor would be replaced by someone better or soemone who would be worse when it comes to COVID-related restrictions. A recall could easily become Pyrrhic if someone worse than Newsom were to take over.

These dummies seem to overlook the fact the stadium had reduced capacity and one third of those attending the Super Bowl were healthcare workers who presumably had already been vaccinated. As such, I'd expect the number of cases from Super Bowl attendees to be low. It jus goes to show how the worst of the doomers think any gathering of more than 2 people can be wordsmithed to be defined as a super spreader event in their mind.

I always knew this was a nonsense overreaction and moral panic, but I'm just wondering how many other young dudes have been reaching absurd amounts of anger and nihilism directed at those who fucked them, both politicians and civilians. Finally debate in our country is moving along. Our local Bill Nye the Science Cuck thinks it would be better if there were no elections this year (because in autumn there'll be elections for the federal parliament, which after a dozen years might finally get interesting again because Merkel is not going to be the candidate for her party anymore), because politicians would have less incentive to go overboard with easing restrictions and shit.
It's getting really hard not to fedpost anymore.

Can't wait until the 2021-22 flu season is the "worst in decades" and "dangerous strain" and we have to SHUT IT DOWN TO SAVE GRANDMA because all the old people who normally get flu shots don't and are now dying. To my knowledge this is why the 2017-18 flu season was so bad--they fucked up with the vaccine and it didn't give immunity against the dominant strain that year, so a lot more people died than normal.
