Part of me legit wonders if Phil would have a mental breakdown if his internet went down for any reason for maybe a week.

I mean, he'd absolutely screech about how shit his internet provider was despite how much he pays, but more importantly the idea is that its out of his power to get his gout-ass online and have wheelchairs give him money.

What happens when you cut off money to the roach?

I think he'd just shine the Pig Signal on Twitter and his ass would be perfectly fine.

A pandemic and the resulting economic crisis didn't bury the pig. Comcast trolling him for a week wouldn't do it.

He lost his fucking mind during the Hurricane Sandy I think it was.

He complained that his condo was dark while having the blinds completely blocking the sun.

When the power did come back on he went straight to uploading videos and Leanna stated he didn't shower yet.

Sure Phil. You sure are Hygienic.

He'd just live-shtreem from his phone, like he did before. And the front-facing camera on his phone had a much better resolution than the stone-age thing he uses to shtreem...so we got to see just how disgusting he REALLY looks.

I've always been the person to advocate for people to self troll themselves.

Actively trolling other people just gives them a victim mentality and with that they are always on the defensive with this shit. When they aren't actively being trolled they are prone to fuck up even more.

He'll just take the time off and go out to spend money to make himself feel better and send the occasional tweet to remind us he exists.

Just look at the time when he unplugged his modem and needed a tech to come and plug it back in.

Also, don't forget he has two lines and is too autistic to realize that he could use his non business line to stream on.

The cash flow would be fine but I think he'd experience a level of withdrawl symptoms facing a reality of relative silence. Sure he could still use his phone to tweet and scratch the gacha itch but imagine someone who uses their jahb and the alms received to facilitate their ongoing denial of reality - to distract themselves from the fact they have no friends, no genuine interests in anything beyond wasting their time and money on hollow jpeg wins and comfort food.

I have a wife and son he might say. They spend so little time together that it can (probably) remain cordial between them. Personally though I feel like you don't really get to know someone until you've done things with a partner like going on a vacation together or been in some situation for an extended period where there's no breathing room. This is when you get to know what they're really like and I'm not sure they've been through this since she moved in. Sure they took a trip to CT and got married.. then came back talking about how they basically both hated the experience and the only positive draw for phil was recalling all the food he shovelled into his pie hole.

Faced with a break in his autistic schedule (which gives him the shakes for fear of being abandoned) and left to deal with the deafening silence of his empty materialistic life I think he'd start to snap for want of some way to occupy himself when he's not able to watch an up to the minute tip counter. He physically comes unglued at the hint of anything in his world not operating as it should, hops onto his PC in hope it'll have all the answers while he rocks uncontrollably. Reality outside the pigpen seems like a living nightmare to him when someone isn't on call to tell him what to do with himself. It's an interesting and fairly miserable look into someone completely dependant on the internet in every facet of their life.

Maybe we're just allowing different sides of him to color our opinions on how he'd react. I will say that there really are people out there who don't care about other people, don't care about bettering themselves or learning or experiencing things and are comfortable 98% of the time with materialist shit, and I don't mean any of those in the extreme, sociopathic way. I mean just plain ol' run of the mill Basic Bitch Syndrome, and to me that's Phil all over. I do think the shakeup to his schedule would bother him but I think that's as deep as it would go. He's got 4G and gin and doubtlessly a mountain of Blu-Rays; he'd get by just fine as far as entertainment goes, and I absolutely do not think he gives a single fuck about Jasper or Kat in any way other than what they can do for him, and no internet wouldn't force Kat into spending more time with him.

No power, on the other hand, would be a fucking riot to see, because I do think that Phil left to resort to candles, books and board games for 36 hours would see him reenacting The Shining with Kat as Wendy, guest-starring the emergency self-defense hatchet.
