what you don't understand is sophie is writing about her difficulties and her trials through life using the characters to say it in first person...basically Sophie is writing "My Struggle" though English isn't her first language, maybe it translates into other languages differently french, say, or maybe German

Her story is absolutely harrowing and yet, MZB was idolized in the SF community as a progressive, even after the perversions of her and her husband Walter Breen were exposed and Breen was convicted of child molestation. And this was just the SF fandom. Troons have cranked this up to 11.

Eh, I think that's part of how we got the troon craze in the first place. Kids who don't fit into gender stereotypes having no roll models and thinking it must mean the aren't really boys/girls. Like a teen girl who's not boy crazy thinks that must mean she's not actually a girl at all.

Troons actually have pretty rigid views on gender stereotypes.
