I would like to comment that I think his trans color fursona has nothing to do with his likes (beyond it being novel for him and special), it's about trying to get engagement, as usual. More background info here. Richard Bartrop is a Canadian artist who lives off of the Canadian dole last I checked. He fancies himself a professional and did some gorgeous work in his prime, but now just seems to dial most of it in. I want to say this looks more dialed in than usual for his art, but looking at what he's done for other people I'd say he's that way with everyone these days. I don't care for him much considering that he has this haughty attitude in the times we've talked like he's on the level of Michael Whelan or something, but he draws art that caters to Lou's tastes what with the muscles and the waists more narrow than the necks and tiddies bigger than the heads. And since nobody remembers his work from the 90's, $20 pencil sketches is the best he can do.

You know, this isn't the first time Lou has commissioned this Bartrop guy either, I went to look him up and recognized his art because I think I looked it up last time too; dude's digital stuff has a SERIOUS case of uncanny valley. He seems like a very classic example of a traditional artist not transitioning well to digital, looks like maybe he did airbrush back in the day and he's treating it the same way but it's... not great.
Which is a shame because his traditional pencil and ink is pretty good in a very... idk, scifi pulp fiction, furry edition sort of way. Idk how much to my taste it is since it's very muscle-y and I'm a weeaboo little shit, but you take the stuff Lou gets and compare it to the work the dude seems to have been doing in the 90s and early 2000s and yeah, Lou ain't getting much.
Versus, well, what Lou got. For what it's worth I'm not decades-of-professional-work levels of seasoned, but based on people I know with those sort of experience levels Lou's sketch took MAYBE ten minutes, if that.
