It would make sense because other than art, the furry fandom's main export is dramaA lot of Furries are blackbooked in a lot of animation companies, or apparently were.

I think a lack of maturity is another factor, which may keep furries from gainful employment in the industry. It would make sense because other than art, the furry fandom's main export is drama
I just saw the teaser, too, and all I can think is how utterly unexceptional it is. Disney has done anthropomorphism before, and in more interesting ways. Here, it just seems like an end in itself, like - yes - the furry niche market is being pandered to.My friend and I watched the Zootopia trailer and we're like: My God, furries have invaded modern mainstream culture how could we let this happen
Aren't the exports of most fandoms also art and drama? It would make sense because other than art, the furry fandom's main export is drama
This has been going on for ages, since the games first came out. I like them. There's something interesting with how people interpret different Pokémon.Sorry to necro, but does anyone acknowledge the existence of pokémorphs? They're basically pokémon furries. Here's a popular morph group: http://pkmnskies.deviantart.com/
Looks like furries can get their hands on anything.
Hopkins is one of my favorite lolcows. You wouldn't happen to have When Summer Woke, would you? These dramatic readings only cover a fraction of the book and I'm morbidly curious what the rest of it is like.
All I can think of is the poor kids going to see it in theaters.I just saw the teaser, too, and all I can think is how utterly unexceptional it is. If the forums had a nickel for every time a ticket-taker asks "Any children with you?" re: this movie...All I can think of is the poor kids going to see it in theaters.
My nephew saw the trailer and I promised him I would take him. I fear the things he'll see in the theatre.
I shudder to think how many complaints about people in fursuits and leashes it took to implement that rule.I know a lot of movie theaters have showings of kid's movies that only allow children and their parents. That's a really good thing so both can be comfortable.
I think it was more of a general courtesy thing for parent's of sped kids or something. The same theater has "Quiet Days" where they turn down the volume of kid's movies a bit and keep the lights on so I guess autistic children can watch them.I shudder to think how many complaints about people in fursuits and leashes it took to implement that rule.
I'm surprised I haven't seen some fat fursuiter with poor all-around hygiene crying "FURSECUTION!" when their local theatre won't let them in to an afternoon showing of a kid's film. I'm sure it's happened, but I'm surprised I haven't seen the resulting butthurt thread pop up... yet....
I don't think you'd want to see a movie in a fursuit. I can't imagine they get a lot of visibility with those masks on.
