Our boy Argent just put out a new video about how Nier Automata is a horrendous game and he's tired of everyone pretending it isn't. I think more than the viewership, it was the "Groyper Wars" that did it. When they basically shut down Donald Trump Jr's event, heckling Dan Crenshaw and had big name "conservatives" like Shapiro talk about him, that's when he started to really get the idea that he was a somebody politically, rather than just a political streamer. One thing I've noticed in the times I've watched/listened to his stuff is that he constantly references it like it was some paradigm shift and not just a bunch of guys trolling people IRL.

It's both Nick and his viewers, they're corrosive to each other because Nick demands absolute loyalty (see Pat Casey stuff) while his viewers are competing to be the most loyal and buy merch, send superchats, etc.

yes and now they're all in on the 'homosexuality is wrong' train. Which is honestly a net positive for the Republican party. I think nick really believes that appealing to a bygone era of politics will grow his political movement. I'm not sure what he's thinking but the end result will be giving the GOP easy ammo to recruit team rainbow and white liberal men/women. 4d chess. As the left goes further left and declaring anyone who "identifies" as a woman is now a woman the rational folks will be looking for an escape. Another summer of riots should do the trick on top of several lawsuits and high profile 'women' winning female sports/scholarships.
