I know it's a few days too late, but yesterday's completely unhinged full screen NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO face inspired me.

WHAT'S THIS? JASPER KITTY'S GOING TO THE TOP OF THE HEADBOARD! BAH GAWD DON'T DO IT, DON'T DO IT JASPER, HE'S STILL SLEEPING!

BAH GAWD JASPER KITTY JUST DROPKICKED HIS OWN FATHER WITH HIS SHARP BACK CLAWS! HE'S GONNA FEEL THAT ON THE NEXT PRESTREAM!

Phil has called this guy a 'tax attorney' before so I wonder if he is also retaining him to do negotiations with the IRS for his back tax repayment plan. The filing itself should not cost more than a few hundred but the rest might be for legal services.

Either that or we find ourselves in another Burnell Dilemma: is he just stupid (paying over $1k for tax filing) or lying?
You're confusing the old tax guy with the new one which is generic tax guy or Washington tax guy.
He's probably paranoid that they might get the order wrong.

As already mentioned recently, he is a creature of precise habit. If something goes against what he expects or wants...he just completely falls apart.
I think this would be the funniest ways for the existing paypigs to mess with him on their way out. Promise a tip early and deliver near the end, or promise a tip during stream and tip it after the stream had completely ended. Mess with his schedule tism. He'll be clown mode knowing the stream is safe by at the end no one comes. Bonus points if it's a low support game so he's ending with 20 bucks.

I don't understand if DSP is going to do a "Viewer's Choice", why not pick a game that he can do in 1 or 2 streams?

It's like his marathons. Why the hell would you play the first hour of a 40 hour game? Especially since that hour will be mostly character creation and you might play a couple more sessions before wagequitting (like Morrowwind).

Then again, if DSP did things that made sense, he wouldn't have a thread here.

Hahaha, if Max Payne 2 wins he's going to cry so much. There's a part where you need to snipe bad guys quickly so Max can get through and we all know how good pighooves are for aiming.

As pinwheel as the Sons of Kojima were, their Max Payne 3 video was really good.

I've found him referring to his current tax guy as a tax attorney multiple times in Sept of 2020 using PigPigGo. But confusingly he also calls his old tax guy a tax attorney and refers to the current tax guy as his 'new' tax attorney (implying he used a tax attorney before). So now I'm starting to think that Phil is just a fucking retard and calls everyone who does taxes a tax attorney whether they are an accountant at H&R Block, a CPA, or an actual lawyer specializing in tax law.

I have no doubt he thinks the 'A' in CPA stands for attorney. He's just that stupid.

He still sees “complete playthroughs” as his product (and something people really want to see). But now that he calls himself variety streamer, that just means playing games to completion a few hours each week.

Why play it? Because it’s new, and new = views. How long will he play it? Until it’s over, obviously (or until wagequit). It’s like he heard somebody describe a streamer and he understood it in the most boring fashion.

Because Phil is a super special unique snowflake and needs to do things in his own autistic way. Other streamers start their streams 10-15 minutes early and play music to send out notifications and let viewers trickle in? Well Phil plays 30 minutes of music and then talks for an hour straight. Other streamers do marathons playing for 12+ hours? Phil streams the normal amount but instead of taking a longer break between his two streams he takes numerous shorter breaks in one longer stream. Other streamers focus on 1 title in their marathons? Phil plays 6 different games for barely long enough to get invested before killing all his momentum with another break.

I wonder if it's more than that.

DSP loves to say that he's not like these other streamers that all put on an act and pander to children and show their boobs or whatever.

The one thing I can say about DSP is that I've never seen a single other streamer with his sort of schedule, where he can have 10 different playthroughs he's working on at once. Most normal streamers usually play 1 or maybe 2 games at a time.

I wonder if his pinwheel schedule is also a way for DSP to think he's different than everyone else?

I love how Jasper has already been described by Phil as this fucking huge detractor just biding his time to hurt Phil any chance he gets lmao

Jasper is probably on the nook plotting his revenge I know I would if I was forced into that musky room every night because Phil doesn’t understand that cats are nocturnal
They're not. Most housecats are crepuscular, most active during the morning and evening hours, which means Phil could roll his ass out of bed fifteen minutes earlier, play with Jasper, then either he or Kat could play with him again between Phil's streams. Phil is home 24 hours a day, six days a week and he makes thousands of dollars a month. There is no reason why Jasper shouldn't be one of the most well cared-for cats in Renton.

if he's so fucking broke, why doesn't he do his taxes himself instead of wasting thousands of dollars to have someone else do it
Dood, Dave's taxes are more complicated than anyone else's in the state of Washington! He needs a professional to go through em so that the IRS doesn't butt fuck him.
