yeah I wish it still was that. Now it's most likely this:
2010s died, along with their humor. now it's just "i wanna die xdxd" and political correctness (or the extreme opposite)
It's also not so different from zoomer humor, except they pretend that they enjoyed good old days (2000-2014~), despite being miserable even then. oh, and hating on new trends (i.e. until a few months ago it was Minecraft, and now it's Fortnite), just like their ideas of the boomers, imo.
