Much as this thread likes to crow over a minor mention of it here or there in the outside world, their terribleness is not really that public. To the world at large they have great PR. Any True and Honest Believer who might see otherwise unflattering comments about this place has a great excuse to write such things off as the work of TERFs, Nazis, or New Zealand agriculturalists. And even if concern for the alpacas comes from a black vegan socialist transwoman with an alpaca fursona and who has been doxed by someone here, they will write it off as one of the above, because they want to believe.

Meanwhile, the Tranch is crazy and cultlike but i personally think even they are not out of touch enough with reality (yet) to think faking death threats is a good idea.

If the network got a threat and it mentioned the tranch, then the police would've been the ones to tell them. The only way the network would've told them is if it were for a story, and there is no story.

If the story is bullshit, then it's either a grifting larp or a delusion.

"The police is not an option for us" is code for "we tried the police, but they said stop publicizing your death threats, and we just don't want to do that."

Any time anyone is ever sent death threats, the police make it explicitly clear not to draw any attention to it, otherwise it ruins everything from the ability to decipher who sent the threats all the way down to the actual legitimacy of the case.

If you're so privy towards sharing each and every time you're sent a death threat, then post the actual death threats. That's not too much of a step up from just announcing every time you get one. Otherwise shut up and show it to the police so only they have to suffer your whinging, because I'm not buying it.

The coincidence that this so called death threat came just as a major dox happened here is in itself suspicious.

Also, why would the threat be sent to the news station and not the ranch itself?

Also, if it was sent to the news station wouldn’t the threat be toward the reporters and station itself and not the tranch?

Also, if there was an actual threat sent to the news, protocol would be for law enforcement to be notified and it be investigated. Now let’s assume all of this happened, the reason the tranch won’t or can’t go to law enforcement is because the threat was already investigated and found not credible. Hence, the tranch was informed it is not a credible threat and it’s pointless to involve law enforcement in the matter.

All I can tell is the whole story doesn’t hold up unless there are a lot of details not being said. Either way, if it is true or not, it is a great optic for them.

From our perspective, I certainly agree. From their perspective, I'm not so certain. They've displayed enough raw paranoia for me to consider it possible. Bonnie was aiming her biggest piece at random passerbys when things were comparatively much calmer for them. We've seen boujee and retarded but otherwise unassuming black actors throw nooses on their own necks because people weren't worshiping them enough like some shit out of a psychological thriller Japanese idol anime plot. From what I've seen the Tranchers are well up to grade on the irrationality of their prior behavior.

I'm not even sure how security cameras could work in such a rural area- covering such a large amount of land (front drive, doors/windows of the dome, alpaca rape shed, and so on) isn't really feasible. In such a rural and barren area it'd be near impossible to sneak up on our lovely ladies unless everyone happened to be asleep, the dogs didn't give a shit, and/or there were weather conditions like fog.
