Only Channel Awesome character I've ever really known (or at least watched alot of) was Doug Walker/Nostalgia Critic, which is probably a good thing since he was one of the few good Channel Awesome characters (Was being a keyword. After hearing about the controveries and what went down with Channel Awesome and even the things the Walker Bros. have done themselves, I can't even bear to watch any of his content anymore. Instead, I've been sticking with the relatively controversy-free Cinemassarce).

Huh? I guess there's at least a grain of truth to the whole algorithm thing BreadTube keeps talking about. I'm betting that, unless he takes drastic action (that action being something beginning with T), he'll be off YouTube by the end of this year more or less, having been evicted from his home due to not being able to pay rent and will either be A;forced to get a regular crummy job or B; become a homeless bum living on the streets of San Francisco.

Update, the production of this video is so shit. At some points they censor swear words and others they don't, I'm assuming that the idea is you're getting around the youtube censor but you're probably not and it's just annoying. The backgrounds are so stale and plain, the "costume" work makes Contrapoints look like a French fashion show. Just a trainwreck of a video, may I also remind people that Olly is actually the 66th most backed person on all of patreon, making anywhere from 20k-35k a month.

The writing is absolute trash and one of the worst arguments i've ever heard against capital punishment relying on emotions and specific british legal cases to bolster what amounts to "I don't like this, it's barbaric" rather than say, talking about the costs associated or the ethics of if the state should be able to do that & why, etc. The argument for prison abolishment is even more poorly constructed as Olly mixes up bail and prison abolishment, a slightly left stance most people & professionals agree with and a radically left stance few people believe in. Really weak stuff it's clear Olly didn't read any serious criminology philosophy, statistics or do then the most basic look into the criminal justice system stuff in any country. it seems like he read one article maybe and then went to wikipedia to see specifically the cases behind why the UK doesn't have the death penalty.


Also I just realize he's Sans from Undertale, what awful makeup :story:
