I will never understand the 'this site made a nasty mean post/page/thread about me that makes me really upset! here's the link so that everyone can see it' mentality. The only reasoning I can possibly think of is a) they're so utterly retarded they don't understand that posting the link will get it far more hits, or b) they're such massive attention whores that they know they'll get negative attention and are thrilled.

She seems pretty immature for her age. Then again, it could just be the cow within causing her to throw tantrums and threaten hax.

Frankly, her obsession with Jiminy Cricket is disturbing but doesn't necessarily make her a lolcow on its own. However, threatening to hack kiwi and crying cyber persecution certainly makes her lolcow material.

I was going to comment last night on this thread but didn't bother. In light of Hollie's response though, I thought this thread deserved a free bump.

I know that it's DeviantArt, but I can't fathom how someone can go on to an art site (that's not Tumblr) and not expect to receive criticism for their work.

I think it's kind of normal for kids to have crushes on animated characters, since most childrens' programing is animated. You're just supposed to grow out of it.

Pretty much this. We all think back to characters from games or movies or books that made your feel a little giddy as a kid. I think thhe difference between an adjusted person and people like Hollie or WBL Productions is they really cling to these things.

I used to believe people who liked fictional characters tended to have paraphilias that the flanderising natures of cartoons would play up (ie entomophilia and the distinctly carapace like appearance of the Wogglebug or Alvinolagnia and Holly) but it seems both Bug Fuckers are more trying to use these characters as surrogates.
