Called it, it's Daniel getting her a friends and family referral just like he did at Riot. Apparently they learned nothing from their time at Riot or even recent events. Bex was already inserting herself into work related drama a few months ago when apparently some Apex fans got mad about something and started giving Daniel grief and claiming they were bothering her as well. This is one of those cases where having your partner at work really and truly is an awful idea.

That said it's a temp position so if they are unhappy, they can simply choose to not offer her an extension just like Fox did. Tho Daniel means she might be there to keep him sweet regardless.

I'ld honestly feel a little bad if it wasn't Bex because this is the worst takeaway from an emotionally abusive relationship I've ever seen.

Lovebombing does give a certain high - mostly because the person performing it is using a playbook written in their head. It's not because they care about the target, it's that they've observed said target and then created a mask that's almost a copy of the targets likes and interests. That "person" only really *exists* while the abusive person is willing to keep wearing the mask, something that will inevitably start slipping when they believe they have "won" or have become bored, which is when it becomes more interesting to create drama or play mindgames with their "partner" instead.

The high is good because the lovebombers habits early on would be impossible to actually sustain in a proper relationship.

Most people who endure that sort of emotional abuse don't normally come out of it saying "but man the sex/good times tho!". By the time you are done with their bull, it's just easier (and better for your sanity) to assume all of it was fake than to try and figure out when they were being genuine with you or using the persona. That realisation normally taints everything else once you figure it out.

The sad thing is the cucks will more likely be sympathetic and shove their feelings aside because "abuse". When really, it's shit that she's openly comparing them like that and frankly admitting all the lobster nachos and lego sets won't make up for them not being as good in the sack as the pathetic skirt-chaser.
