We know that she previously had surgery for an ovarian cyst years ago (which eventually grew back even bigger). We also know that her hormones have been fucked up for years (likely PCOS related). She lost her chance to give Bibi a child years ago, even before her hysterectomy. There was no 'plenty of time' in that regard.

Yeah, her mother thing is really weird. Considering her own mother didn't miss a beat and kept on partying (after stashing Chantal at her grandma's for safe keeping) it's odd that she seems to think that mothers ought to be reserved, respectable, and wholly devoted to their kids with no interests or life of their own.

Wait, no. That actually explains it all. It also explains why she didn't want to be a mother, since she couldn't live like that (not a lot of people could). Narcissist that she is, she clearly wants all of her mom's attention, all the time, and undoubtedly has been that way since childhood. That's a "good mother" to her -- one that caters to their child's every whim.

And yeah, being above criticism also factors in.

Meh, I disagree. I'm willing to bet that there was a window between her first set of cysts and her second set getting really bad where she had the chance to conceive. Of course, she most likely would have had to take the initial cysts as a wakeup call, dropped a lot of weight, got her hormones under control, and possibly seen an endocrinologist or something to assist in conception, but there was a chance.

Of course, Arby's was more important than any of that, so now she's crying about it.
