Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The Biden administration is completely out of their depth and entirely helpless in a post-Trump political and media environment. This is painful to watch.

They cultivated this atmosphere over the last five years (and beyond) and in the face of only a fraction of the scrutiny that the Trump administration received it is clear that the administration is unprepared from top to bottom. How the fuck did this happen?

Call me very optimistic, but the only people that could be worse than Cuomo would be AOC or De Blasio, and I doubt NY political machine would want either of them filling that vacancy.

See... That only works so long as there isn't a landfill fire going on. I've got people bitching that gas is up 40¢ and don't give half a fuck that Biden has "only been in office a month." This administration is a toboggan ride down a shit mountain regular people are starting to realize it.

I can see that happening only if the lockdowns don't start up again. If they don't, things will be back to "normal" and people will be too busy busting ass to pay their climbing bills to get angry.
