ASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will make his first prime-time address Thursday night to commemorate the one-year anniversary of shutdowns taken across the nation at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced the address during Monday's press briefing. She did not give a time or say where the president will deliver remarks.

"He will discuss the many sacrifices that the American people have made over the last year and the grave loss communities and families across the country have suffered," Psaki said. "The president will look forward to highlighting the role that Americans will play in beating the virus and moving the country to getting back to normal."

Had our first in-house worship service yesterday. Still being ridiculous with all the precautions, but it was so good to see so many people in person again for the first time in almost a year. I'm gonna have to talk with my pastor about removing some of the restrictions, the biggest one being that we're requiring people to register before each Sunday service so that we don't exceed capacity. Setting aside the fact that churches are under no capacity restrictions (especially not now), we've already seen problems with it; namely, there were people who registered who didn't show up, and people who didn't register because, like good Christians, they wanted to let others go first. So we had room for more people, but the people who could have come didn't because they either didn't think there was room or wanted to offer their seat to someone else. Pretty stupid, so hopefully we can cut that shit out immediately.

But aside from that, it felt so much better to be worshiping together again. I just wish we could've done this months ago.
A seatbelt is a basic safety precaution, proven effective through countless rigorous tests over the last few decades. A cloth mask is a worthless totem, with studies over the past few months showing that any positive effect they might have is within the margin of error, yet still being pushed because "think of the grandmas." There's no comparison between the two, and it's fucking retarded to claim otherwise.

And fuck right off with the whinging over the kids dying. Literally anyone can go and look up the coof statistics and see that kids are at the lowest risk from the coof. And as we've seen, any fearmongering story about a kid dying from the coof will inevitably be about a diabetic kid who's at least a hundred pounds overweight.
I just don't fucking get this. I understand that it's not possible to make any claim with 100% certainty especially given the short timespans involved, but their constant repetition of this bullshit essentially makes them the number 1 exponent of anti-vax sentiment in the world. If nothing is going to change regardless of whether you get vaccinated or not then what is the fucking point of all this shit. Absolute incompetence and buffoonery.
The constant goalpost-moving is ridiculous. From "two weeks to flatten the curve" to "lockdown until the virus is gone," from "we can go back to normal once we get vaccines" to "wear the mask and remain isolated forever," these idiots refuse to make the call to end this insanity. Part of me thinks there's a power trip element involved, where these bureaucrats (I refuse to call Fauci et. al. doctors) have gotten a taste of power for the first time in their lives, and they don't ever want it to end. "People are hanging on my every word and doing whatever I say? Why would I give that up?" And then there's the lucrative arrangements they've made with Big Pharma and the like; Fauci's portfolio is probably looking real good right about now.

The second this scamdemic ends, these retards will fade into obscurity once more and the gravy train will end. They're gonna milk this shit for all it's worth.

What was the point of the vaccine then?
Literally this is what the retards in American institutions don't get. I'm young, healthy, and educated. Why the fuck would I get a vaccine that is relatively questionable if there is literally no upside? I don't buy into leftist "Think of others you bigot!!!!" arguments, and I don't think most people do privately, either. If there's no advantage to getting the vaccine, which in non-clown world would just be the fact that lockdowns and stupid policies would end, then there's no reason for me to get it whatsoever. They're so stuck up their own asses and think they can control life by being the priests of Science™ that they've forgotten how normal social dynamics work.
