Rules for radicals is how you subvert things from a left wing perspective. That rule only works on people with a firm moral compass and ideals. Their logic is that trans women are women, and therefore straight men are by default attracted to them (extrapolate that to lesbians, gay men, etc). Take that to its natural conclusion, and you get the super straight argument of "well then anyone not attracted to trans people must be a non-normative sexual orientation" and using all their own rhetorical tools against them.

Yeah, I get that, and I get the appeal of "It incenses the trans rights activists". But, even in shitposting meme-ideologies like this, it's still ceding ground to the pro-trans narrative, which still changes how people (both opponents and supporters) see these issues.

Same as a few years ago, when the troons were trying to push away from having people seeing the world in terms of "sex", trying to re-define things in terms of "gender"; The Sargonites and Kekistani-types responded by obsessively shit-posting about "only two genders"; That "only two genders" thing was largely just been a meme to "trigger' the SJWs"- But even today we see the fall-out of that; Today everyone, from shitposters on Reddit and the chans, right up to mainstream conservative media and senior politicians, discusses these issues in terms of "gender", "how many genders?", "what gender are they?'" etc. And virtually no-one discusses this stuff in terms of "sex" anymore.

"Only two genders" was mostly just shit-posting. But it still ended up ceding the ground, which got us to where, today even opponents of trans activists see these issues through the murky, subjective lens of "gender", rather than the fixed, objective terminology of "sex"- which was basically the overt, stated goal of the trans activists from the start... A goal which the "only two genders" shitposters helped the trans activists achieve.

Shitposting or not, letting your enemy define your terms like this, is a really bad idea. (Especially in an issue which is ABOUT the definition of terms, like the "trans" stuff) People may not START OFF taking these terms/definitions seriously, but eventually it just becomes 'what these words mean', once people start using them that way.

Anytime people on Reddit have fun at the expense of the Reddit hivemind they get shut down pretty quickly. Sadly I don't see this subreddit surviving the weekend. As soon as one piece of bad press comes out about it they'll ban it.

Reddit doesn't actually give a shit about values or opinions, they just worry about negative press that causes them to look bad to the public and to potential advertising customers. That's why the original banwave happened (the one that banned /r/jailbait, /r/picsofdeadkids, and a few others). And I'd bet that's why places like /r/the_donald and /r/chapotraphouse got banned as well.
