Phil says he didn't find out Pro-Wrestling was fake until the "mid-2000's", then pretends he slipped-up and meant the mid-90's. Then he cites the 'Hulk Hogan scandal' as something that helped him figure out it was fake. . . the 'Hulk Hogan scandal' happened July 9th, 2000 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bash_at_the_Beach_(2000)
Phil thought Pro-Wrestling was real until his early to mid 20's. He's actually retarded.

Arsenio Hall show appearance was the early 1990s, and that was the first, and at the time most famous, Hulk scandal where he ducked answering if he was on steroids. Bash at the Beach was more a contract dispute that got into worked shoot on screen territory than an outright scandal. If it was the steroid trial fallout that smartened young Phil up he'd be in the 10 year old range and that would fit more naturally with a future high school valedictorian in a basketball mill than believing it was a shoot promotion through the end of Rock 'n Wrestling and all the way through trash like the New Generation giving way to the Attitude era boom and bust cycle.

Phil also conveniently omits the part where he allowed himself to dance to someone else's tune at the prospect of easy cash. It's other people's fault that Tut became a meme, not the fact that he throws aside his dignity at the literal drop of a dime.
it's not my fault i sucked a guy off for 20 bucks, okay? nothing i could do
he flashed a wad of cash, i needed that money, i really did
if he didn't offer it, i wouldn't have slobbed his knob
i'm not a whore, sound good?

I'd bet he thinks he's actually controlling real wrasslers with his ballsack bejeweled.

While we wait for @itsthatanonmouse to show up and answer our questions, let's have some more fun with numbers!

This time, it'll be more short and sweet, but let's examine Phil's claim that it's not a handful of retarrr... I mean generous people who fund his lifestyle, but it's a group effort and he's totally organically crowdfunded.

During the vest streak, his tips average per stream was $127.27 after fees. The start of 2021 was not so kind to our hero though, and his tips average per stream has dipped down to $81.70 after fees, a decrease of a whopping 36%. Outside of a few isolated blips of data through most of January and early February, there was a dearth of pahsitivity at the Wakando. That is, until February 24th. Anyone wanna guess what happened on February 24th?

Joyful_Oblivion showed up. It marked his first appearance (at least under that name) in 2021, and he's been very pahsitive for Phil since then. So pahsitive in fact that Phil's tips average per stream SINCE Joyful showed up is an insane $128.67, a whole $1.40 more than it was even during the vest streak, and a crazy 55% jump from what he was making before Joyful showed up. One single mouthbreather is responsible for a 55% increase in getting good vibes back. Think about that.

As will be the case when I get a hair up my ass to do these things, I'll attach the spreadsheet, but for those who can't be fucked to click it, Phil's made $10,651.55 this year (again, assuming more fees than he's probably being assessed) just from tips. On pace to make $56,342 just from tips this year so far, after fees, which means that while not AS pahsitive as the vest streak, he's on pace to make $112k this year if subs/bits/YT/Patreon stay at current levels. ($83,800 after taxes)

For 14 grand you could buy a nice gaming rig or an old car to tear apart or your dream collection of books, a bike, fuck, put it in an index fund, just buy ANYTHING ELSE for FUCK'S SAKE
Funny I was thinking how much someone could make if they bought 14k worth of assorted ammo calibers specifically 9mm, .223 and 12 gauge if they bought it back in say 2019. 9mm alone for the cheap ship is near a buck a bullet for a box of 50 and pre st. Floyd's day I could find the same box for around 15-19$.

Phil has said many times that he didn't watch WCW in that era. The Hogan/Russo stupidity is likely revisionist history to him as he started following the "smark" shit to do his podcasts with Jahn Rahmbo.

It's impossible to say when Phil realized wrestling was fake. By the 2000s, you'd have to actively try to ignore the kayfabe breaking constantly taking place. But, this is Phil who pays attention to nothing and we know he was a childish mark well into the 2000s.

But why purchase physical goods with purpose that hold intrinsic value when I can just throw my money into a flaming dumpster?

Because nudnik even Beretta stopped producing the ARX, now what am I supposed to do if I break it!!!!

What do you mean goods go up in value if they stop being widely available... AMT would disagree. What do you mean hardballers go for for $1k over original MSRP!? Viscous detractor lies and rumors everywhere!

I won't to too far on the derailing but I had a buddy who bought a VZ-58 side folder six or so years back cherry with the mag pouch, five mags and complete bayonet for like $580 with tax hell when he had to sell it to cover a financial situation the gun shop guy was all wishy washy about it "aw gee I can't give you more than like 220 we have a stack of them in the back" guess what the motherfuckers are going for like 1300$ on Atlantic arms now talk about how the worm as turned. Nice beretta btw I like that model because of the ambi bolt where you can stick the charging handle on either side.

Damn, that's a nice piece. How does it compare to putting a hatchet near your front door for self-defense though?

The fact that DSP still thinks debt is the solution to his every problem is great. Can't wait for the Bankruptcy Redemption Run™ in his early 50s. Imagine going through a bankruptcy and being such a massive narcissist that you claim it as a win and learn absolutely nothing from it.
Debt can be quite useful to mature adults, as long as you don't over-leverage yourself; the time value of money exists for a reason.

Well yeah no shit, but that's not how DSP sees debt. The way he talks about it is literally the solution to every bill that comes his way which is an absolutely retarded way to see debt.
