That's the whole problem, it's safe and takes no risks, and is just uninspired. The game aspect would be in adding some randomness to the whole thing, throwing some curveballs. If you take your meds and go to therapy, you might still lose your job. It may be less likely, but can still happen. But that would take effort and imagination, and people who have those usually don't choose to fuck their married bosses. It may still happen, but it's much less likely.

Not only is it beyond niche, it's a highly competitive market. Go to any comic shop and there will be a dick ton of obscure table top games to choose from, I can't imagine having Zoe Quinn's name slapped onto a product will get people to buy it. If anything that will get customers to narrow down possible titles to buy.

She's only managed to make herself more rediculous in the years since Gamergate. Now she's a ThEy tHeM and insists she always knew she was nonbinary, which goes against her entire narrative of being victimized as a woman in the gaming industry. I'm just waiting for Sarkeesian to come out as some made up Tumblr shit.

I like Bleeding Fool but I have still seen overly optimistic predictions of the demise of wokeshit in the past. I think it's going to happen. I'm just not sure it will happen right now. If this is an early signifier of things to come, great.

They're not predicting the demise of woke, quite the contrary. They're just pointing out that some of the more poisonous and unstable SJW personalities are starting to get shoved out the airlock in favor of people that are willing to play nice.

It's the opposite. Thanks to the COVID lockdowns, virtual tabletop sites like Roll20, and the popularity of shows like Critical Roll and Stranger Things, normies are flooding tabletop RPGs.

There's still next to no money to be made though.

This dude's voice annoys the shit out of me. Also Heather Antos went from that eSports shit to Valiant relatively quickly so if there was an anti-SJW "whisper network" it didn't seem to do much to harm her.

I'm fully convinced they thought the great "indie wunderkind" experiment they tried was a dud and cut the cord, though.

Valiant's a dead man walking now, though. COVID sank the Bloodshot movie and delayed some of their comics releases in the range of six to eight months. I don't see them surviving the year absent drastic intervention.

Her ability isn't really the point, just that if there was actually an effort to purge "that element", she likely wouldn't have found a different gig so soon. If the Big Two are trying to cut out cancer, other brands with less financial cushioning to withstand the risks of them flopping, as they seem to have done, likely wasn't happening. Particularly since it seems like Tini Howard seems to be skyrocketing within Marvel atm.

Yes it's mostly a shit gig for a near dead publisher that was on it's way out before the current plandemic was instigated.
She got cut (ability must have had to with it because Marvel has been and is a hotbed of troublesome commies) and never got a way back in to the bigtime.
Sure she made all the right noises when she went to the esports place where they tired of her ((ability)) in what a year or so.
Valiant had no choice.
Who'd work for that outfit.
They hired Antos because she had had a look in Marvels (competitor) kitchen, she was never known for her great editing skills.
Actually back in her marvel days she more widely known for her lack of editing.
Valiant has not really been on anybody's radar in the industry or with customers since 2016 and after their takeover it al went to shit even faster.
They troll a bit with the fat positive comic faith as to get some press but that's about as good as it gets for them.
Even that had it's day in 2016.
She is a nobody now and has been for a while.
