It's somewhat of a misquote. He was asked something like "are you grateful that your audience is younger, so you can keep up with your wife (since she's younger) who's around younger people at work, and y'all can communicate better?" He then said it was "one of the most stupid things he's ever heard", and laughed for a few minutes (very obnoxiously). He then said "its not like my wife comes home and says things like".. That is actually the reason why I can't listen to videos of just DSP talking.
LSB's and Tevin's videos are the only way I can watch DSP-related videos, because only hearing Philup talk fart words into the mic pisses me off.
Maybe it's because I actually never watched DSP unironically, since I only found out he existed through Geoff The Hero.
His SF2 analysis at 50% speed is still the most hilarious DSP content I know.

In a recent DSP tries it when he was eating that pizza with ranch he was handling the pizza and then digging his greasy fingers into his ear. The headphones have nothing to do with it.

It helped to identify him as a pathological liar and delusional manbaby - it's never his fault, dood! It's amazing to me that he even lies about little things, also to himself. In reality he is just slow, dumb and/or mashes so many different buttons so the results appear random to him. I mean what's worse: Accepting stoicly you fucked up / are a bad player and just shut up or pretend other factors influenced your ability to use your own hands?

I can't remember any instance where it happened to me and I am not talking about actual broken controllers or keyboards.

I introduced my gf to TIHYDP’s a while back and she’s said basically the same as what you described. It is amazing that, beyond “input dropping”, Phil will bitch and lie about things like “dropped frames” or “lag” that clearly never happened, because we are literally watching it not be true on our screens. I can understand now how Pignosis could have developed and taken hold, as if you’re willing to still give someone the benefit of the doubt despite the fact that you can actually observe their lies exposing themselves in real time right before your eyes, then you are retarded enough to believe anything.

If wings of redemption did recently get a job you can bet your ass phil will have a narrative and a scenario with back up plans written up and drafted on how he CANNOT get a job before the month is over. He's tossing around the muh wifes work and covid around a lot lately so im interested to see what he comes up with. I'm thinking he's building up to something to shock us. I have a theory that about 2 weeks ago someone must have told him or he read somewhere about his WWE game he's totally NOT playing, His pulls are based on RNG so now everything is RNG. When DSP learns a new word or term he's like a child learning learning to talk, add in the delusion of everything he says is the first time anyone has mentioned it like some 100000 IQ break through and ofc knows all about.
