I've said it before. Singing is monumentally easier than speaking a foreign language. You don't follow natural inflections and mentally overcome speaking barriers to sounds. A lot of people prop-up Gura for this and you shouldn't. I'm not saying she is a bad singer (she is great), but her style is born from a very specific ability.

I have an identical background to her musically. We both 'sing-by-ear,' which incidentally is how Sinatra also sang. It boils down to having no musical reading skills coupled with a knack for mimicking sounds. The problem arises when you are competing against real talent coupled with experience.

Gura will not ever equal the likes of Suisei and AZKi as is. And the former's EN bouts show that she has the mimicry ability but hasn't gone in for it yet.

Almost every Holomem playing Apex will always aim to get Volt and Mastiff guns for each round, I know these two guns are meta as fuck and fit for aggressive players but please for the love of god, switch to different guns or different playstyle because I got fucking tired of these chucklefucks keeps using Mastiff.

Watch Aqua; she brought it up recently. Ame also just uses guns she likes at detriment. To be fair, any meta falls in the face of someone who knows how to use the weapon.

Apex collabs are way better than them streaming solo because it allows for that many more shenanigans between talents and not just basic gameplay. Although it gets pretty hype when they are reaching some milestone in Ranked.
Kinda want Botan to play with Aqua. Like that would ever happen.

With the sudden rise in violence against Asian communities we've been seeing around America, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a sharp incline in Asian-American gun ownership across the board. Maybe we can entice Ina to abandon her Leaf ways and move into the superior Northern American country if we get her a Takodachi branded AR15.

I'm still convinced this isn't a thing, and if it is, its almost exclusively black on asian violence. Asians are being tossed out of the "minority" category, and they're hanging on for dear life because they've seen what its like for white people and they want none of that.

It might also just be the romance component. I've seen a few Japanese dramas and while they get quite... sentimental, they don't have quite the same emphasis on open displays of affection. Maybe just the way the characters casually showed affection came off as incredibly intimate to Nene's Japanese mind and she thought it was some very serious adult drama (I wonder what she'd think of something like Game of Thrones ).


Slight off-topic but I think this is one of the ways in which American comedy really excels. A British comedy will spend an entire episode shitting on a character, but American comedies give their characters some very serious moments of personal development before returning to shitting on them. I love a lot of British comedies but one thing they desperately lack is staying power because the characters never get the room to develop season to season. Which is why I guess the UK Office got two short seasons whereas the American Office lasted for more than a decade and only really started to seriously decline when the showrunners decided that they'd had enough.

Grass is always greener. I liked UK house of cards, couldn't stand american house of cards. Something like "curb your enthusiasm" doesn't really give larry character development, he just lurches from one embarassment to the next. I'd say the only show that is close to it in cringe power is "the increasingly poor decisions of todd margret".

However, we are getting distracted from the real point; kiara being shitty isn't some advanced form of self parody, its just her being shitty. I would like to see her try and walk back something with "it was just a social experiment" at some point.

Pretty much this - when singing in a foreign language you are repeating something you have heard. It still requires talent and/or work to pronounce words correctly (and there are sounds which do not exist in a given language, there is no "th" sound in Japanese for example), but for a conversation you have to spit out the words one after another while keeping the correct pronunciaction, which requiries some effort. I think the difference is like between fast reading and writing a book yourself.

there really isn't a unified euro humor, you can have a different mentality if you travel across a single country. I mean just remember what happened the last time an austrian traveled a few kilometers across the border into bavaria to have fun.

on top of that the chicken isn't your average ravine shitting austrian country girl, her background is pretty much unique. so you get a very weird mix that makes it hard what to make of it and pin down, generating the divisive reaction you can see even here.

That's kind of the old-school way of taking care of a cat that is also peroidically let out. Nowadays its not good to let your cat out (for the local bird population) and so the cat needs more attention, exercise, and play. Change the litter daily, manage its water (cats can be fussy about water and not drink enough. Depending on the coat, you may also need to brush it regularly unless you want hairballs. Some cats are aloof and independent, but other cats are extremely needy and want to constantly be around/near you.

So cats do really require some work, its just not the disaster where some housebound asian girl gets a dog that was bred for farm work, and the thing goes insane because it needs to spend 3-4 hours a day running at full tilt.

Pikamee also adopted the runt of a litter of some kind of scottish fold or munchkin cat that was returned to the store because it wasn't mutated enough (not displaying the breed characteristics) for their taste. That's super sweet and what I'd expect from Pikamee, but she was also signing up for some health problems.
