Watson gets pigeon-holed into the the "gremlin gamer" role because that's usually the trope about her character that gets repeated often enough for casuals to see. People who have been watching her for a while would know that all that meme stuff is just ancillary to the overall personality she presents on stream.

Lovecraft's Dream Cycle Mythos is pretty underrated and has pretty much been overshadowed by the Cthulhu Mythos. Wish more people explored that side of his work but it's understandably less developed and sexy compared to the Eldritch stuff.

I was curious to how unphased Amelia was to watching Hereditary. Then again I don't know how many times she'd previously seen it. Fun stream that one.

I'm fairly sure she said that she hadn't watched either VVitch or Hereditary prior to her Halloween Watchalong. Or even bothered to look them up honestly, she just said she picked the most popular ones out of a poll she put up. Which is why there was a rather long discussion about whether or not to continue and watch Hereditary or change it to Shrek (Which then ended up being its own stream) since she was surprised at how messed up The VVitch was.

TBF, watching any horror movie while constantly having to loudly comment on it on-stream and interacting with chat for content is going to be a very different experience compared to watching it totally on your own. I mean, watching THAT pole scene and then seeing people in chat go "BONK" is gonna take away some of the impact of it regardless of how shocking it was.

Inherently bad input lag of a docked Switch on top of a capture setup where she chose to watch the computer capture instead of the game adding more input lag notwithstanding, a good controller does not make a good gamer.
 
Forgot how good the Reine BGM is. Guessing its made by the same person who did the Botan one as it sounds really similar.

If Aqua is not exaggerating her social inaptitude she is literally tortured at times like this. But I would guess she must be somewhat used to dealing with it with how long she was a part of a company. By trying to ignore it and becoming a putty.

With how backwards Japan sometimes is I wonder if any of the talents have androphobia.

they're close, but they are not gaming friend close, they're irl close friend, to this day aqua has not get the enjoyment of party play, she's in a way very anxious about playing with other people, like she mentioned in the vid, the last time she played together, at least in apex was at the 3rd or 4th season and that was with shion, the last time she played with the other member was the 1st or 2nd season
