As I said before, the longer it goes on without intervention (and the more times it occurs in cyclical fashion) the more entrenched psychosis and/or psychotic features can become as part of an individual’s personal manifestation of mental illness. Eventually there is no coming “back” to the reality most people acknowledge, but I doubt very much that Lizzie is at that point yet. Too few episodes (reported here, anyway), too young, etc.

May be giving her too much credit but I think she was making a “joke” about how the real Jack is here and everyone else also has claimed to be Jack. There are startling moments of clarity in every psychotic episode.

It's just so messed up when I try to imagine what it has to be like to come off this lunacy, to look back and realize that over half a year of your life is made up of a completely warped perception and completely butchered memories. When you've spent that much time in a schizophrenic stupor, where you're constantly raging at someone, how do you come back and get over all that shit, imaginary or not, these long-lasting emotions must leave a mark? I mean, even knowing that it was all just in your head, how do you leave all that behind?

I don't see Jack putting up with this shit for much longer, there might be a last attempt to help her before he just punches out and is done with it all. No matter how much he loved her in the past, this is becoming way too much, the trench is becoming way too wide to bridge and if (or when) Dizzy Lizzy becomes lucid enough to understand her situation, she'll be devastated to realize how she turned him away with her behaviour. Frankly, even if she becomes normal again somehow, why should Jack stick around? If she's this fucking fragile mentally, if a relapse is this likely, splitting up and doing your own thing is perfectly valid. At best, he could/should give her a second chance, and the moment she gets into the whacky tobacky again, he should ditch her ass - even if she's still lucid at that point, no need to wait for her to flip her shitswitch.

Her videos show that she likes to spam videos and voice messages at him over Whatsapp late at night, and whenever she has a new one to send she unblocks him, sends it, and immediately blocks him again. It’s as cowardly as it is sadistic towards someone who’s still coming to grips with the fact that the woman he married has completely lost her mind.

She also said in one of her videos that she found his chess.com profile to harass him on.

Which is really fucking ironic when you consider that she threatens to block him if he doesn't answer within a few minutes. I guess this far, he endured it, cause he hopes to somehow help her and make her better, but I don't see it happening. Maybe he, too, blocks and unblocks her, just to get some short respite before she fires another barrage of nonsense at his inbox... but there will come a time when he blocks her for the last time, files the divorce papers and moves on.

I would not be surprised if at some point in the future, Lizzy comes back to this thread after a long pause of getting sane again and telling us how much she misses Jack and how sorry she is.
But it will be too late.

At least she should be done with accusing everyone in the thread of being Jack, that bit was EVIDENCE OF YOUR PSYCHOSIS (since she keeps acting like evidence of it doesn't exist)
