I'm not really seeing the problem here. The US needs to coax China into an actual boots on the ground war. The US sends their troons and dangerhair types as the first couple of divisions. Let the Chinese capture them and return with nice pliant western (dilating) wives who produce no children. It's a win-win. China relaxes a bunch of their macho (by Chinese standards) men, and the troons become fucktoys of brown/yellow skinned communists. There is literally no downside to this. Literally no-one involved who would not want it. This fulfilling EVERYBODY'S stated wishes.

You know, I try to separate characters from their actors, but sometimes it's hard. Maybe it's their most famous role that is heavily shaped by the actor (RDJ to Tony Stark), or maybe their vocal style is so consistent and iconic that you end up connecting them by force of habit. Either way, it hurts watching social media destroy pedestals in a way you wouldn't see before.

I dunno, it seems like military service isn't important to Republicans. And hasn't been for a long time. Have you watched the debate between Bush and McCain? It's the same playbook as '16: tarnish the service record of veterans. The crowd ate it up with a spoon.

Voters want a bull in a China shop. They want to be riled up. They don't want protocol. And they certainly don't trust the military. Black helicopters predated Jade Helm by almost twenty years.
