Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

No surprise here:

They recently followed through on keeping a bunch of companies like 'Huawei' on the entity list..or at least keep them from listing on the NYSE. Something along those lines and that was like 2 days ago.

Edit: And i swear to god about that new DoD Memo. Okay CALL OUT CHINA. They literally just declared that homosexuality is a mental illness. Genociding ethnic muslims and soon to be any Han-Homos

I do really hope that the current administration takes on more of a hawkish position against the CCP.

But considering media's clamoring to link the shootings to Trump's statements about China (potentially allowing the tankies/wolf warriors to accuse any sort of anti-CCP statement of being racist), I think it'll be an uphill battle.

The screenshot from Facebook is Fake and Facebook is actually actively working to take down anyone saying it's real. I think we're seeing a new wave happen and 'white supremacy big bad' will legit need more fuel to the fire VIA FBI/CIA/Deep State to take hold. I'm not a 'minority' but float well in those circles and 'Blaming Whitey' only really works on Twitter. The average person isn't afraid of the KKK and other BS. Same thing with Russia. I think the 2022 elections will see a larger amount of minorities come to the republican party because of how Democrat tend to Blame Whitey and then do nothing to help

That's like hoping gravity will suddenly invert and become a repulsive force. It's not happening. You'd sooner get struck by lighting while a plane falls out of the sky and hits you just as you verified you won the powerball.

I thought China and Russia were friends?
Russia and China are many things, but they are only ever geo-political allies of convenience. They generally hate each other. The whole Chinese-Vietnamese war in 1979 was over forcing Vietnam out of Russia's sphere of influence, and they absolutely hated Russia supplying the North Vietnamese through their territory, but couldn't do anything about it at the time. Mongolia exists because of China's pathological need for buffer states.

Why is everyone in Washington stuck in the Cold War?
Because you need to keep in mind that most of them are a particular combination of controlling, narcissistic, of questionable competence, and really goddamn old. Look at Biden, or Pelosi, or Feinstein, or McConnell, and on and on. They’re all easily pushing 80 or have blazed past it. Most of the current power players are of such venerable age that they sucked JFK off for seats. I doubt it even occurs to a lot of them that:
1. Russia and Putin are fundamentally different foes (if they could even really be called that if not for the constant shit these people try to pull in Russian earshot) than the old USSR autocrats the current Uniparty leaders grew up talking about. And
2. The average person sees all of this as completely unecessary even if they don’t voice it for fear of being exiled from polite society.

Gotta keep an external threat in people’s minds. Can’t have the plebs dwelling on our many interal problems being the fault of our dear leaders. Some of them might be getting senile like Joe is and are really thinking like it’s some nefarious red plot.

What would be the protocol for removing all the military top brass wokies when Trump or DeSantis take office in '25? Would it be easier to just say lack of confidence in their ability to lead or is a reason even needed?
The president is their boss essentially. The optics would look bad. The media would call it expunging the ranks and compare you to hitler. But we're long pass the era of good optics.

ehh, there's an element of "lol i fuked ur mom" in that so I wouldn't be _that_ mad
Basically, attacking a country because they make faggotry illegal is now justified.
that does open up killing the shit out of a lot of people, so I can see why the military might be on-board
"I don't know what the long term side effects are" is macho thinking huh.
also "I'm not fatty fatty 2x4 with a side dish of aids so I don't get seasonal bug shots"

I would say that they don't necessarily hate each other nowadays, but see each others as rivals, especially in areas like Central Asia.

I think recent assessments of Chinese birthrates and its future population have made it so that the threat to Siberia has passed, and China needs Russian oil and gas more than ever, especially if Americans take a harder stance in constricting supply.

But yes, not friends, but allies of convenience- especially against the Americans. They'll play tag team in the UN if needed, and I do think that Russia would diplomatically back a Chinese invasion of Taiwan to essentially justify their takeover of Crimea and potentially the Donbass.
