Most people are a bit stupid about technology and all the ways we're tracked. For example, a clown in NY made several hundred claims for UI and had the cards sent to different addresses but got caught as he kept claiming every week from the same IP and used his dog's name as the password for every claim. Granted, this pedo was an experienced attorney who practiced for several years so he either thought he was untouchable or wanted to get caught.
I'm leaning towards untouchable, which makes me think he expected to be protected in the event he was caught, either by local law enforcement, other judges or politicians. Which is horrifying because that means he's not alone in being a person in a powerful position who's also a pedophile.
