I dont think she is far ahead of everyone tbh. Pekora, Marine are both above her in terms of live viewership and members like aqua and korone can actually compete with her. One thing is I noticed though gura's archive views is higher than any hololive.

But the reason why I think she is this high is because she is entertaining(not my cup of tea), meme-able and she is pretty talented.

Despite not being a massive fan of Gura myself, I think her biggest strength is how well she's able to still engage with her audience even when it's fucking massive.

Miori Celesta, one of MyHolo 2nd gen will become an indie after buying the assets from MyHolo. It's pretty weird to see an entire gen graduating for no apparent reason. Either they want to stop VTubing or they got hired by someone else.
 
I think I managed to only watch two streams from Marica, myholotv gen 2 and it was Chink Impact stream and free talk/nihon stream. Shame they graduated so fast, what's up with that.

No need to play the BGM when the theme is stuck in my head for how much the fat pinecone fucked me over in HR. Still not as interesting or fun to fight as Seregios, and the Baguel gear isn't that great.

For me, on Gura, I liked her funny shitpost before she was in Hololive so I followed her as soon as I figured out who she was. She's kinda the same but more sober and consistent.
