IMO Phil's just chatting streams would be 20x more entertaining than most gameplay streams. Commentary for the blind + handholding from chat is extremely boring. Phil's delusional rantings and ravings are prime candidates for gold dust.

It takes Dave 30 seconds of fiddling with OBS to switch scenes to a closeup of his face for his "NOOOOO!" gimmick on prestreams, I don't know if he could ever figure out how to use a green screen.

Did he not at some point also fundraise for the B&O taxes though? I feel like he did to make an initial payment, and then also had them put on a repayment plan.
I may be mixing them up with the federal taxes, but I thought there was more panic around the initial discovery of the B&O and the new tax guy was immediately brought in to negotiate that.

I believe at some point we counted 10 tax fundraisers over two years, and of course we know for a fact the federal taxes weren't paid because the money owed as listed in the bankruptcy. But I'm not looking through 7000 pages to find it when Phil will just deny it ever took place anyway.

you can 100% set different scenes to hotkeys, and obs has a lot more specific options for hotkeys too. Phil is just an idiot.

I wouldn't be surprised if his version of OBS is so old it doesn't support it. He's already admitted he can't group sources.

DSP got insanely indignant one time when someone said he should color correct his streams, saying he couldn't shell out money for professional equipment that could do that. OBS supports color correction and the button for enabling it is in an obvious, straightforward place, labeled "Color Correction".

Phil really is just fundamentally unable to use his tools in a professional capacity.
