Discord Server Personal Army Thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I hope the ones who posted content in this thread joined these Discord servers just to observe the crazies and that's it.

Seeing these just make me wonder a bit how and why you even joined these servers to begin with lol

If they were actually talking to the herd, they wouldn't be posting screenshots because the Discord folks would have banned them for wrongthink.

I guess I'll start with the fact that they have reached the limits of discords roles, with over 250 roles which is an ABSURD amount of roles. Do you know that North Korean General with the medals being discord roles? Imagine that but multiplied by 300.

Anyways, the saddest thing about discord, is that despite all the jokes we make about grooming, it’s a common occurance, me and some friends know that. Its happens when you dont expect it, when you think you know the warning signs.

For the kiwis with kids, be very careful about letting your kid on social media, even more so when interacting with fandoms

Late, but yes, these grooming servers are horrible. As much as we love to troll and insult them, they’re monsters. And the worst part is, Discord is made up of said monsters and shit.

Nah not even in grooming servers.
Met a guy my age in a homestuck server. Wasnt in a good place and he preyed on that, giving me help and everything. For 9 months I was so infatuated that I tried dating other people to get him out of my head. Never worked. Turns out he hated me, and was only using me to get his dick hard.
Thats why I said watch out for fandoms, people there will be there so they can prey on you.

I wish I still had screencaps from 2017-18, I have so many weird Discord server stories but this one is kinda my fav:
An imageboard called Arisuchan.jp had a loosely connected Discord server where most of the autism poured over onto the site itself.
The server was for a radio the owner Seph was trying to run, but due to living the digital nomad in Thailand or some other bumfuck southeast Asian country she didn't have the time to. She also didn't have time to moderate hence the insanity.
Daily occurrences included communist apologist essays, daily "Are traps gay or am I hetero" debates, meltdowns over not looking like a girl, overall people being mentally ill and online, kinda like Twitter but with Cyberpunk™️ flair.
Seph would stream daily and all the simps would come pouring out to watch some lady who is studying neuroscience learn to use SCSS and she'd be crying about some dumb shit like how she wanted a Japanese boyfriend but was too old and too fucked up on benzos to be dating anymore.
There was no programming or electronic music chat ever. Invites still up so you could still check if they're being autistic but I don't have an account anymore and don't have the will to check if it's still the same old shit or if it's dead for good.
TL;DR Don't join imageboard Discords because they are always bad
