Yea Kaya, the Turk idiot they have on their podcast seems to be super autismo and really ruins it a lot of the time. The only time I've ever checked out their podcast was around the time the ProJared stuff was going on, and their episode of it had Kaya constantly interrupting the others when they were trying to discuss the topic and saying "who cares". Why Charlie/Cr1tikal never told him off over that I'll never know, and he's done similar shit on other episodes as well, he's the main reason why I've never watched many other episodes of the podcast.

Something I've noticed is that Youtubers who appeal to younger people that aren't little kid bait, (think mid-teens, 15-16) and aren't drama mongers have a habit of ditching their funny focus and becoming moral arbiters as time passes. They stop being known as Youtube funny men and more as internet dads known for their right think while their funny declines. H3H3 and Idubbz are the biggest examples, H3H3 going from Million Dollar Extreme inspired content and his commentary on absurd things and his fun skits to endlessly moralfagging about Youtube drama and opening a business venture to defend Youtubers in court that never went anywhere because he didn't understand the money and dedication required to keep it going. Idubbz did his fun Kickstarter shit and his crazy skits with his friends. Then he became the Content Cop and while it was still humorous quality content that was his transition to a moral arbiter from Youtube funny man. Now Idubbz is the content cuck who doesn't seem to have gone anywhere sitting on his Youtube money. All while his girlfriend takes him for a ride and throws their reputation down the drain. Anisa always was a damper on Ian. But, until the Onlyfans shit she was a background character that people occasionally shit on at worst. As for H3H3, he runs a California shitter podcast and his wife runs an overpriced clothing brand. Admittedly though his Podcast still pulls in millions of fews a video and is probably much more successful than his channel. Since now he has donations and sponsors and shit while 2.7-3 million is half the views of his old content, that shit took him like a month or more, while he's pumping these out every week.

Cr1tikal has declined significantly from his days of yore too and is also a moral arbiter. However when he broadcasts his shit opinions it hasn't overshadowed his funny man content, it's still just a sidehow that he wants to talk about. And uploading whatever he currently wants to do and talk about right this moment been his idea of Youtube since forever. So as opposed to the defender of the downtrodden Youtubers or the Content Cop, Charlie is just some guy giving his take who just so happens to have millions of fans. He's clearly kept his ego in check too. It's just unlike the aforementioned he hasn't receded from public view outside of his circlejerk because he's not a fag like the others. Just settled as a Youtube celebrity pumping out mediocre family-friendly content with bouts of weird sex toy martial arts shit, but not edgy stuff. It's all quirky in a unique way normies love. But, Cr1tikal has also legitimately leveraged his moral fagging into something good that he's passionate about. He runs a company that manages Youtube channels and protects the rights of creators by allowing them to easily get in contact with humans easily. And from the little it gets mentioned by him its not just manging random ass Youtubers and Youtube stars, he's the go-to for Will Smith and the like. He clearly knows things we don't about Youtube, but its very odd for me to see H3H3 not having special privilege. When Charlie himself leverages his special privilege as a big face of Youtube to get special contacts for company clients.

I don't think it really says anything about society that so many people look up to these Youtubers. Since again, their audiences are very young but old enough to actually start asking the more serious questions and expressing interest in the world and its problems. The implicit selling point of Youtube is that "these are just regular people being themselves and finding success, that could be you!" So they have these very real people they look up to talking about issues that they're interested in who want to hear more from this person because they have no idea about it outside of these moral arbiters. That's in part what feeds the transition from Youtube funny man the moral arbiter. It's something you can see in the T.V comedians of the time too, even before the Drumpf bashing profits. I recall myself being one of those people who loved H3H3 transitioning to his moralfagging content because in my young mind it was amazing to see someone I loved stand-up for things I cared about and other people I care about during all the Youtube drama. He wasn't a voice acter for a cartoon character in a PSA reading from his script and telling me stuff adults wanted me to think about "Smoking is bad m'kay." He's a real person who was talking about things I cared and thought about with no script that he too clearly cared about, (at least that I know of) and that seemed really honest trust worthy, which made it so endearing.
