"Masks clearly work! Look how much the flu has dropped! It has nothing to do with those people who catch and die from the flu getting covid instead, that's a conspiracy! Anyways, did you hear about Cuomo killing seniors? Why didn't anyone report on this last year when it was happening? Wait, you say they did and the reporting was called conspiracy? Journalists wouldn't lie like that you crazy white supremacist Nazi transphobe!"
On top of that, who knows how many "Corona cases" were misdiagnosed flu or cold infections.

The symptoms for all three are fairly similar, so I wouldn't be shocked if people just assumed they had Corona.

Meanwhile in Michigan Greta Gretchen still push the lockdown.
The war against business owners in Democrat-controlled states continues. A Michigan restaurant owner could possibly spend up to 3 months in jail after she supposedly violated COVID-19 restrictions.

Marlena Pavlos-Hackney who owns a Bistro and Pizzeria in Michigan was arrested on Friday after she refused to comply with Michigan’s COVID-19 guidelines.

The court decided she will remain in jail until she pays a $7,500 fine and closes her restaurant.

The Washington Examiner got the full scoop and dropped these details:

A Michigan restaurant owner will remain in jail for up to three months after she allegedly refused to follow the state’s coronavirus restrictions, as restaurants nationally continue to shutter during the pandemic.
Marlena Pavlos-Hackney, 55, the owner of Marlena’s Bistro and Pizzeria, was arrested early Friday morning because she continued to willfully violate the coronavirus policies, the district attorney claimed. A warrant was issued for her arrest March 11.
She was taken into custody for an outstanding Ingraham County civil warrant for contempt of court.
The restaurant owner will be in jail until the state is confident that her establishment is closed and after she pays $7,500, according to the Detroit News.

Tornado season is now starting in the South for the second time under the 'pandemic' and from what I heard on Georgia, the public shelters are still closed. Totally nice to see they have the right priorities of putting a sickness with a very high survival rate in front of protecting your own life from acts of nature for a full year and still going.

I just wonder how many keep dying because of the incompentence and maliciousness of our elites. They gotta keep playing up to the narrative, even if it comes to the cost of human lives, dont worry, just say its corona and boot lickers will just say it was a small price to pay to save grandma.

And the fuckiest thing about it? They will get away with it. They always did through history. There will be scapegoats here and there, sure, but ultimately they will just be able to bullshit their way through bureocracy and legalities (they havent "done" anything criminal afterall...)

When people realize that politicians are a protected oligarchy-styled class, the better.

If things reopen, will people remember how to exist in a polite society when they've spent nearly a year polarizing themselves online?

Pro-mask vs Anti-mask
BLM vs Sane People

Gonna be really awkward sharing a lunch break with someone you know hates everything you are and ever have been.

I guess I have lived enough (not necessarily in terms of "time" but experience) to know that its almost always this way. People just merely accept each other's company but deep down there is almost always dislikement or at least apathy towards them.

I just merely think its social media worsening the issue and perhaps justifying lashing out at others under a poltical context, morality be damned. You can ruin someone's life under the right accusation and political ideology, nobody will give a shit if its "moral" or not. We have never been more divided as a society because social media is motivating us to bring out the worse within ourselves and justifying it as "moral" political cause.

We will resume hating each other deep down, just this time maybe doing a worse job at hiding it.

I wonder if it will hurt sales for Amazon, Chewy, DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc if people can go get their own stuff again? (Personally I'm going to keep using Chewy because it's worth it to make someone else carry big bags of critter food to the door for me.)
Why you think they are lobbying the shit out of governments to keep lockdowns going as humanly possible? They gotta reach those mega-corporation numbers so they cant be stopped.

New link:
They should burn the testing facilities and health departments like they did in the Netherlands, they can't use OMG MUH SECOND THIRD FOURTH SIX MILLIONTH WAVE as an excuse to imprison more people if no one can test for the disease. You could probably use clips of Florida and other free zones right now as propaganda to incite more protests. "This could be you if your government didn't care more about locking old people in their houses for a disease that barely kills anyone, tell them what you think about it."

If you say "I had the flu. It was awful!" then everyone says "Well of course it was awful. It's the flu. Get back to normal life now."

If you say "I had Covid. It was awful!" then everyone says "OMG did you get tested? You got tested right? Testing is SO SO SO important! Gonna get the vaccine? Got to get the vaccine! So important! Stay 6 feet away, wear a mask, disinfect everything, stay home!"

Such an odd time we're living in.
I think I brought it up in another thread, but the flu I had in January before we started getting info out of Wuhan was much worse than what we’ve destroyed the world over.

Not only that, but she's blaming high school sports for the spike in cases among high school aged teens and using that as the excuse reason to require teen athletes to be tested before practices and games starting 02-Apr.

From what I've seen, schools had been taking the COVID requirements and protocols seriously up to this point (albeit some more than others). While there's always the possibility that athletes could pass COVID to each other, it shouldn't happen all that often if schools do the required screening of anyone entering their buildings. If anything, it's the AAU/travel sport circuit that's a concern because those tend to be unregulated by a central governing body and the organizers of those events care more about maximizing their revenues and profits than they do keeping everyone safe from COVID.

The biggest issue is that some students and their families are not taking precautions outside of school and school functions which often ends up being where and how they pick up COVID.

What I suspect is that Whitmer is still butthurt over having to allow winter sports to take place after parents filed a lawsuit over the matter and this is her way to impose and wield some sort of control/power over the situation. Ironically enough, the state's athletic association actually discussed the feasibility of testing student-athletes two months ago in an effort to have sports resume back in January only to have those talks go nowhere. So, I blame Whitmer for not taking the association up on their offer of testing sooner when she had the chance.

I believe it was @King Dead that recently talked about their church recently reopening, so to speak. Mine welcomed back most parishioners back for the first time today in roughly a year. Every other pew was cordoned off to help enforce social distancing but it was difficult for more than two families to sit in a pew due to the six-foot restriction between unrelated people. Apart from not having songbooks available and having people drop off their offertory envelopes into a centrally-located basket before and after the service, everything else remained largely the same as any other Sunday.

That said, I'm not sure what the church will do in two weeks to accommodate what would normally be a significantly larger crowd for Easter Sunday. Even if the church adds one more service to the schedule, I don't think it will be enough because pre-COVID Easter services tended to draw standing room only crowds. Perhaps the pastor anticipates a good number of those people opting to stay home and watch via livestream despite the bishop encouraging able-bodied/healthy people under 65 years old to start attending weekly services again.

I love jow fauci zealots say rand paul is not a real doctor because he was an physician.

Paul is an ophthalmologist; which people conflate with the lab coats at America's Best who ask you what looks worse, Number 1 or Number 2. In reality he has a full medical degree and 4-5 years of residency, just specializing in eye stuff, but he can perform surgery and everything. During COVID he volunteered in his local hospital as a regular doctor. So he's no Jill Biden.

Powerlevel:
I know a former patient of his from his pre-politics days who says he was a great eye doctor and took his practice seriously. He was quite successful, and could have easily done it the rest of his life.

That is right up there with the fucking banners that NHS spastics put
up at there houses that say Hero Lives Here. Honestly....fuck these people.

Good to see other brits out protesting without licenses. Fucking funny to see all the cops in the pointless paper masks that arent worn properly, or with beards making them even more pointless.
I will call it now that if we dont get our holidays and freedom by this summer there will be civil unrest like you wouldnt believe. The media keep running threat stories so people are getting more and more wound up, depressed and angry.
