Man, this is just disappointing. Probably should've expected this from the time that girl wrote an entire play about being in an abusive relationship with him, but I really wanted to believe that he wasn't that bad— still had the voice of an angel.

Then again, some people said the same about R. Kelly...

Either way, I'm not gonna let it ruin all of the good memories I had with peak era Game Grumps, Cosby being a rapist didn't really ruin his comedy for me like it did for everyone else, neither did Michael Jackson being a weirdo with kids make me hate his music. Respect the art, not the artist.

Reminder that there still exists that Discord server adjacent to the old Main Subreddit Discord server that catalogs and manually stalks over 5,000 people for simply talking shit or even mildly criticizing the Grumps. Even for something as benign as saying their thumbnails are shit.

...Still wondering when that's gonna leak.

If I had to guess, I bet Arin is more likely to start defending Dan as opposed to immediately joining the pile-on. He's too stubborn to just throw Dan under the bus, but probably not out of the kindness of his heart.

I think youre nuts if you dont think this will be PR'd into the dirt, Arin is gonna have a PR handler that will keep him silent. They are gonna trot Dan out for the public flog- I mean apology. There are probably gonna make a donation to some rape organization, or even better, a tranny organization. Then pretend it never happened.

Now, because this is undeniably Dan, I reached out to all the other girls who privately contacted me and suggested that if they wanted to throw their hat in the ring, either in the RantGrumps post or after, now would be the time. Not all of them got back to me, and none of them took the post offer, but at least some went into "wait and see" mode, so we might be getting more soon.

But in contacting these girls, they pointed me in the direction of some people that had me dive now a rabbit hole that I could very well still be going down, as they told me some interesting things that I have zero ways of actually proving other than their word:

A reporter is/was doing an article on Dan and when he caught word of it, he gave out apologies to some of the girls.

The reason why most girls don't want to come forward, is not only because of the Lovely Defense Squad, where "Dan would never do such a thing", but also because of intimidation tactics as well as threats of legal action.

All the folks on Twitter babbling over the accuser's age and timeline of events, but at the end of the day Danny would've been about 16-17 years older than her when this all happened which is still pretty bad. Who could've guessed a 42 year-old in a band called Ninja Sex Party ended up being a weirdo groomer.

Edit: Prolly closer to 20 years older than her now that I think about it

I wonder if this is gonna be the end of Game Grumps. GG has been on a downward spiral for so damn long at this point, do they even have another person in line who can replace Dan? Neither Arin nor Dan even seem like they want to do the show anymore, this might be the final nail in the coffin if I'm being optimistic.

So is anybody gonna pretend that Arin somehow didn't know his partner was a huge sexpest? It's very clear Arin didn't give a shit if it took this long for it to come out and it was this obvious. I wouldn't be shocked of Arin had his own skeletons to hide which is why he never said anything.

I agree to a point, however I think the issue is that the video is the closest proof we have that legitimizes the multiple claims by other women. His M.O is clearly to talk to young fans, use his "celebrity" to bed them when legal, then ghost. Not illegal (minus the grooming), but still shitty, and the are supposed to be SJW UwU softbois.
