if anything, I think the pigroach proves that there is absolutely no way whatsoever for anyone to be effectively 'cancelled' as long as they never give up and never surrender.

There have been rumors of Arin texting underage fans then getting spicy with them once they turn 18 for years.
17 going on 18 year olds saying they don't know what "sexting" is, are liars.

It's still not a good look for Arin to be texting underage fans and then springing with sexting once they're 18. Gives me mad Onision vibes.
Plus, if the sexual interactions took place when the person was 22, what is the problem here? Sounds like mental illness, or getting jilted for being ghosted by an e-celeb you worshipped.

Kirbopher was supposed to voice the male protag in Fire Emblem Three Houses, but he got cancelled just before the game came out, I think for breaking NDA and some abuse allegations. They patched out his voice work from the game not long after that.

cancelling only works on a willing victim, mostly. Obviously IRL employers firing you is a kick to the nuts, but if you respond to the twitter mob with "lol fuck off snowflake" and just keep going on, they just REEEE until they find a new target.

At some point we forgot this collectively as an internet. This strategy is how the likes of jontron have survived cancelling.

Chris Niosi is super elitist and hates Newgrounds' flash portal, and even used one of his Nin10Doh! animations for a project in his animation class. Didn't he also get in an internet slap fight with Arin over Arin saying TOME (Niosi's flash series) wasn't good?

I think where Dan's and Jared's accusation differentiate is that Dan's weren't sprung up overnight like Jared's were, and didn't come from some suspect individuals desperate for attention. Dan's accusations were ongoing for over a year, and there is far more evidence collected in that time, but nothing as concrete as this. There was no evidence for the claims that Jared was going after underage fans apart from what the accusers had made up. Game Grumps have done underhanded things behind the scenes for years now.

There's almost no possibility that it isn't Dan.

The idea that someone would, four years ago, stage a video using someone who sounds a whole lot like Dan to gawk over a hot tub and fantasize about having sex in it, then make a fraudulent text conversation, only to use it now? Two years after allegations started to come out? That's so unlikely it's comical.

And if it's faked, why not shoot farther? In this scenario, you have someone who sounds EXACTLY like Dan Avidan and you have the plans to ruin his reputation. Go full-on and make make a fake sex audio tape, phone calls, creepy answering machine messages, etc. Why stop at "I wanna bang you in my jacuzzi"?
