I used to watch GG way back in the day and I remember when these types were flipping out in the comments over their humor and they started putting "trigger warnings" in the video descriptions. Made me very disappointed because their humor was very problematic and that's coming from a KF user lol.
One of the earliest instances of seeing them do this was with the first episode of the short-lived Disney Princess Enchanted Journey LP, but just as I'm scrolling through their playlists to find that series, this is what shows up (sorry, on mobile):

Oh man, why would they do that? Good thing I remember because that was where Dan and Arin joke about the MC (a young girl) being hypnotized by her doctor and made to perform uh....acts, which caused a massive shitfit in the comments (not sure if it was talked about on other sites because back then, I didn't care enough to do much else other than watch them). Very shock jock humor, but that was how they rolled...could've just ignored the screeching instead of being hypocrites but I guess the allure of the fanbase's parents credit cards was too much. Sad.
Good thing there's a reupload though!
Edit: 6:20 is where they start getting dark

The problem isn't necessarily the age gap; but his methods in order to obtain that barely legal cooch.

If the accusations are true, he spends months/years buttering these girls up, implying that he wants a serious relationship with them so that when they meet, they'll be more than willing to put out for him - only to be ghosted soon after he's unloaded into them (my guess is this is why people label him as a groomer).

It's not illegal (as everyone is legal/consenting adults), but it's still incredibly scummy behavior coming from a guy who claims his fans mean the world to him.

That's the most based thing I've ever heard and I am now a Dan Avidan stan.
Definitely going to start watching Game Grumps if it survives this despite my hate for LPs.

Do you really think there are women in their mid 30's-early 40's fangirling for NSP or (God forbid) Game Grumps? A very disturbing thought.

From what I'm reading in the thread, Twitter uglies are rabidly defending this and are more busy seething about the Jon Tweet than caring about the actual accusations. It's looking like they're really going to get away with it again and just be able to say nothing. Incredible.

Who's ready for the "Guys I'm sorry" video where Dan pretends to cry on camera for sympathy points. In all honesty I'm surprised the Lovelies aren't at each others throat more with how often they cry abuse at much smaller offenses, yet when one of their kings happen to be one of those "toxic personalities" they try so hard to disavow, things get a little complicated.
