I mean, that's pretty much the US. We've always considered the Geneva Conventions to be more of a set of guidelines than rules for a while. Contrary to popular belief you actually are allowed to employ incendiaries like napalm and WP in proximity to civilians... you just have to be very, very good with your aim. We're the closest any modern nation has come to violating their strictures, yet we've always obeyed the letter if not spirit. Its very interesting to read about just how close to the edge we've run.

I once again asked why this was only unfair when directed at Obeezy or Joe, but fine with Cheeto man, she finally shrugged, said it was what it was and she is aware of her bias but has no regrets, and changed the subject.

My predictions is that America continues to antagonize Russia because everyone in Washington is stuck in the Cold War. On a bigger front...America continues to go left with HR1 and the 2020 election becoming more refined and hard coded, to the point where they're more in a place to enact their dream plans they have for MAGA and the right wing in general...and then realize thay nobody wants to play along with their progressive utopia, which shaped the foreign policy of the left.

-Europe sees America merely as a sugar daddy for the likes of the EU and NATO and anything that they organize.
-Iran works to make their nuclear program able to unleash something at their Great Satan.
-China moves to crush opposition, including Taiwan and Hong Kong, leaving South Korea and Japan (and maybe Australia) as the only real forces that can hope to stop the Chinese war machine before they move out of the shadows to grab hold of America and their interests here (like collecting the trillions in debt we owe them)
-The open borders is exploited by having many enemies of the US mixed into the refugee pool because America is so bleeding heart liberal that economic migrants looking to grab welfare and straight up terrorists can get in undetected a la Paris 2015. What's to say someone like Iran or China won't take advantage of that?
