Saying the problem was due to a "three-word mention, in passing" looks like the Reddit team are going to try to pretend that posting Julie Bindel's piece, referencing the "shocking and disturbing Aimee Challenor case," was the real issue, rather than Reddit employing an (at best) pedo-adjacent weirdo. All seems to be backfiring, though. 🤞

Ukpolitics has a general megathread that rolls over every 2k comments. They're already on their second after only 3 hours and the vast majority of comments are discussing this (and using euphemisms like "Amy Challenonce").

As they have a megathread that runs every day it's a lot harder to justify nuking. They also can't easily nuke the whole subreddit as it's used by MPs and civil servant officials for PR (like AMAs) so removing it would certainly harm their future valuation while drawing more attention to the current situation.

I find it incredible that Craigslist had to nuke their personal ads, but Reddit is allowed to openly sexually groom children while employing pedophile freaks onto their payroll!

EDIT: (I'm salty, I used to get hours of entertainment scrolling over M4M dick pick posts on CL. )

It seems like Trannies are gearing up to become the new Power That Be. They're allowed to work in the military. They'll get burocratic positions that'll be impossible to be removed from. They already have high positions of power on major influential websites. Everyone bows down to them. Just a matter of time before they rise the ranks in the legistlature.

I know I sound crazy, but this person, and Yaniv, really put this idea into focus.
