In high school, I was friends with a lot of LGBT people. I'm straight but most of my friends were not. Anyway, one girl who was a lesbian always tried to say I should experiment with a woman. I actually had back in junior high and it confirmed that I was straight because I had no sexual or romantic feelings for women. Well, this girl decided she was going to transition, FtM. Once she was several months in, she tried to guilt trip me into dating her since she was a "male" now and I should be more "open-minded". Got alienated from a bunch of people due to her spreading rumors about me being hateful and transphobic and homophobic when I have never been any of those things.
Idk what happened to her after graduation. Hopefully she's still not going around demanding people date her or else they're being "unfair" or "bigoted". I'm sorry, it's just rapey and distasteful to demand a relationship or sex, no matter who it comes from.
Edit: I realize now that I didn't include more context and it looks like i was misgendering her. I apologize for that because I do truly try to call people by what they want to be called. But what I did not include that the last time I interacted with her, she was a lesbian again and used she and her pronouns. I am sorry if I came across rude and transphobic because I'm truly not. I still have lots of LGBT friends and I support them. It's just unfortunate people that taint the actual community. I've always considered myself an ally until it was an affront to be straight :/
