Reddit has had user revolts before, namely the Ellen Pao drama, and all it takes is a "we fucked up" admission that they won't act on and all the Jannies unlock the subs and carry on patting themselves on the back while changing nothing. I wish something would kill plebbit, but between their SEO and retarded fan base they're too big to fail.

Aimee said in this radio interview that he wasn't living at home when his dad was charged. Since the girl seems to have told her parents about what happened pretty quickly and her version of events were easily verified (she described the loft), it's probably safe to assume that Aimee wasn't home when it happened either.

The rape took place some years before it was reported. This is explained in the OP.
I have no reason to believe Aimee wasn't in the house at the time the rape occurred, even if he probably WAS in a tard school when it was reported.

I am incredibly sad and angry that my own very personal decision to transition is being linked to my father’s behavior. I made a decision to transition at a young age, while I was in care. This is a deeply personal journey for me and one which I I have made independently from my relationship with my dad. I was not influenced to do so, told to do so, asked to do so. These homes were built, normally in the late 1800's early 1900's . Normally it was to accommodate growing populations during the industrial revolution and growth of factories and mines. When it comes to isolation and soundproofing, there was no such thing back then.

So as someone put it earlier in this thread "You can hear a gnat fart in the other room."

So he lived at home, but somehow knew nothing. But, gone for periods of time from the home. Or in care?

When I was a student in the same town we lived in a similar house, the sound proofing was so poor that you could heard the water flow through the pipes
