General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I can't really think of any other part of rich yurop that would need to be catered to like this though. Spain and Italy have similar levels of English proficiency as the French but uhhhh... not so much money these days. And plus you could just sign-on girls from LatAm for cheap and use them to capture any audience that might exist in Spain. The low countries, the Balts, the Nordics, and the Germans (both the farm simulator kind and the based southern kind) are all proficient enough in English to watch EN and Eastern Europe is poor and aged (not a lot of room for the growth Cover is probably looking for).

this, anything else wouldn't make much sense. who would watch it? and how many would watch it? they would forever be handicapped by their limited reach. holoEN blew up because almost everyone speaks english to some degree, and it's easy to translate. how many people speak dutch/italian/polish/czech etc? heck who would want to listen to it - not even I'd want to and I'm one of them.

the closest you'll probably see is either french and/or spanish, and then most likely bilingual like kiara or ID to tap several markets at once like "english + x". much more sensible trying to push their existing talent building on the established viewers, like the lion towards russia for example, and if that works out add more down the line that can cover both.

They should delay Gen 6 atleast until next year. EN2 is a no brainer but JP6 would fragment the fanbase even more to the point of probably pulling viewers/donations from the well-established ones. They should also focus on getting more attention to some of the girls who are lagging behind when it comes to views/subs. Mel, Aki, Roboco, Choco and Flare come to mind.

some will always lag behind due to appeal and spread, that's inevitable and imho not a negative - it would be stupid to assume they suddenly can bring in korone's or coco's numbers (not unless those grow even more so they ratio would still be more or less the same), and in trying so could reduce the appeal they already have.

the smart thing would be to get them into more collabs and push them a bit more to the front just so people know they exist (and might start watching them), but in the end most people's budget and time is limited, so there are only so many they can watch and pay membership for at once, and the more eye-catching/meme-worthy and clipped ones will always beat them in that regard.
this way you can cover (lul) different types of viewers that prefer different talent (there's some overlap of course, but different strokes for different folks and all), instead of turning it more or less all into the same sludge the west is doing for "broadest market appeal".

the other thing is do they even have to? what does it cost cover to "carry" those along the big earners? I doubt it's that much, maybe an extra manager or two. and even if they barely break even in the end it still contributes to the brand as a whole.

Much as everyone seems to hate backseaters, and even though Ame had issues with it before that were bad enough to warrant her addressing them, watching this really makes me fucking wish someone would backseat her on most of Oblivion's mechanics.

My autistic nitpicking is soaring through the roof seeing her either miss or disregard easily discoverable things/easily exploitable mechanics that even my retarded, inattentive ass figured out when I was a teen.

Makes me curious just how old she actually is if her voice is dropping that dramatically in just 3 years time.
It isn't dropping. The new voice is closer to her real voice, and she has been abusing her vocal cord to stream with that high anime-girl's voice. Her throat just can't take it anymore.

Seeing her can't get into the party, and then refuse to read what the guard trying to clue her repeately is a painful experience.

That's her normal voice, you can hear it in some of the streams when she sings or lets loose and doesn't put on the excessively kawaii anime girl voice. Her recent full-time drop in pitch is due to her doctor telling her to cut out the high-pitched voice because it's causing permanent damage to her vocal cords.

With little bits and pieces we get from talents about company's inner workings, to me it really comes like their own choice to collab with the boys or not. Coco/EN situation possibly being the same for whatever reason.
That lifeline is a scholar and a gentleman.

The apex crazy is finally paying it off.
Now we have cute anime boys and girls with guns.
Looks good.

Holy Pekora make me pissed how she didn't use knife when zombos down.
What do you expect though lol. She finished the leon route without using knife properly. And her aim sucks lmao she keeps on hitting wall

Her new outfit remind me of an OL trying to act younger in her free time.
