I'm going to preface this by just outright admitting that I do not like Pepper at all. I'm hoping this recent incident with him will cut ties between him and Fox Amoore who seems like a pretty good fellow in my limited interactions with him. His aggressiveness about touting socialism and communism, as much as I disagree with him, are fine. But the problem is that he will scream these ideals on public stage, which also seems fine until it should be noted that a lot of furry cons are non-profit corporations. AKA, they could lose their operating licenses if word got to the wrong people that he did that. Honestly it all just feeds into my opinion that for all of his passionate cries for tearing down capitalism, he only really gives a shit about himself. Really him and Lou are two peas in a pod in that regard. I have no doubt that Lou would have curbstomped a baby if it meant he could have gotten his vaccine early.

And Lou? The reason why Pepper gets away with shit more than you do is that Pepper at least contributes things to this world. I have a custom song he did for someone on my computer and really enjoy it (No, it is not the one about horse genitalia or any genitalia for that matter). I've spoken to him at conventions and he at least puts on a pleasant front. Not to mention Pepper, for all his evils, didn't ask people to attack SueDeer, didn't wish for Boozy's house to burn down, and didn't scream at someone for not giving him money like you have. It's a general rule that people can forget about garbage humans easier if they get something out of them in some capacity. Pepper at least provides music. What do you provide, Lou, besides your daily dose of drama?

Oof. I don't know shit about the US vaccine situation, but Moderna is reserved for the elderly and people with severe chronic conditions due to mRNS tech putting the least strain on the immune system in my neck of the woods. Congrats, Lou! You're in the same group as people twice your age!
I had the Moderna shot and as far as I've seen it causes far more side effects (I keep telling myself it's because it's more effective lol) than the Pfizer vaccine. It made me sick as a dog both times, although I recovered a lot faster with the second shot. (Note: Essential worker and Moderna was what was given to me - I didn't care either way.)

Hopefully Lou gets all of the best (worst) side effects, especially considering his recent systemic infection and vast collection of health issues.

Someone, please inform me what “yinz guys” means? It’s infuriating to read bc it’s Lou but also because I don’t know what it means.

Also, earlier in the thread there was a discussion about what Lou-isms we hate and besides the ones listed by all of you, this one was missed: when he prefaces a point he wants to make with a passive aggressive question, like here.

Im confused about why he needs 500 for a phone right from Apple.

I'm from a place that has way more expensive phone bills and such than the USA, because we don't have several competing companies that drive down the price.

And yet I've still never paid 500 for a phone, even new ones. He can't find some cheap android at a grocery store? Or utilize his phone company for a phone at a minimal monthly rate? We know his mommy pays his mobile bill

pretty sure it was discovered that someone else connected to him paid his phone bill earlier in the thread, funny enough.

Lou needs the Apple shiny. Although that post is old, to be fair.

Lou can’t get a phone on a payment plan, even one of the replacement plans, likely because he has no credit. Additionally, because he was on the plan of one of his friends, he’d have to get permission to do any such thing. I don’t think said friend would want to front the cost.

I would be shocked if his friend still has him on there, after all this time and all the bridges he's burned.

But that's interesting about the credit thing as here, that's basically how every teenager gets their first phone. A 2 year contract or something that charges an extra 0-60 bucks a bill for a phone

And those don't involve credit checks? That's the same kind of system whereby most Americans get their phones - people don't understand what a SIM card is or how useful it is to have an unlocked phone, and instead sign themselves into contracts to pay for service from a given provider for a phone that (until it is manually unlocked by the provider) will only work with SIM cards of that carrier. But because they're essentially giving you the phone before you've fully paid for it, they want to ensure that you pass a credit check.

Cheapo versions of phones exist that you can get on-contract with more lenient credit rules, or real cheapo unlocked phones you can grab for like $60 tops for something decent enough. You can also buy unlocked versions of the good phones outright without a need for a credit check.

I will say, the credit checks are not very high. But that's still too high a bar for Louie.

It's probably because Pepper's string of hot takes that piss everyone off are relatively recent and he eventually reasons with people and attempts to learn while yours go back several years with no signs of improvement?

I'm not surprised that Louie is a fucking moron who doesn't understand the Constitution nor the Framers' reasoning behind it. The phrase "well regulated militia" didn't have the same meaning in the 1700s that it does now because languages evolve. In the time of the Founding Fathers "militia" meant any able-bodied man willing to take up arms for defense of their country, property, life, and/or freedom. "Well regulated" in the time of the Framers meant "well armed and equipped". And several of the Founding Fathers wrote specifically about the Second Amendment and made it clear that it is an individual right for all US Citizens. Jefferson wrote several times about it. But somehow Louie doesn't impress upon me that he is an avid student of US and Constitutional history.

Here, we don't have locked SIMS. It's illegal. However to get out of a contract and switch to a different carrier, you have to pay a fee to cancel your contract early and they'll require you to pay for the outstanding balance on the phone.

So hypothetically you could cancel and switch to another carrier, you'll just have a charge from your original carrier that will eventually go to collections if you don't pay up.

It's sort of out of topic, but I just wanted to point out that it's apparently not a similar system to the USA so I understand a bit more as to why he wouldn't be able to just get a cheap phone or a payment plan with his carrier.

Haven't heard anything about the Moderna side effects, no idea why. All I've heard it was supposed to be the easiest on the immune system, practically without any side effects.
AstraZeneca is all the rage in Eurocuckistan since a couple dozen people died from brain or pulmonary embolism after getting their first shot.
I'm sure it's going to work out, citizen. Nothing to see here, keep moving.

Because Antifa is just a group of noble reactionaries countering the actions of evil fascists, and totally not a group of violent children who actually have killed people and seriously injured others because of their race, heritage, sexual orientation, and political views. Antifa's actions have been far more fascist than actual self-described fascists I've met.
