Near the end during his best of ten with Mixup, someone repeatedly says "A good man knows when to quit."

That's at least the second piece of genuine "man up DSP" advice Phil got on cam during an FGC interaction.

That's what cracks me up about him saying it.
He has to convince himself everyone does indeed like the stream.

In that vein, I've always been amused by his tips explanation during the bankruptcy hearing. How it's like a waiter and you only tip if you like the service or product or whatever his autism-riddled explanation was. Then he whines that his tips on stream are low. "Well, Phil...."

I love that he bitches and moans about the lack of new releases then refuses to play a new release for even a single stream.

Just do a 4 hour DSP Tries stream for new games and leech day one views, dumbass.

Literally all Phil's most popular videos are day ones. He has refused to go to major life events like Leanna's brothers wedding so he could play day one games.

I was under the impression that it supposedly referred to the year that Phil began playing video games.

ETA: IIRC that would have made him four, which while not out of the question would've been very young to pick up the hobby especially in the late 80s. Stranger things, but I'd never considered 86 referring to killing someone, though you're certainly correct that it is used in that context.
