Apparently I'm a pedo now, I'll admit to being a degenerate who mostly watches dem big titty older sister/boomer vtubers but pedo is going too damn far.

Being in Community is going to be odd, there isn't that many if any lolcows to laugh at. Most of the large well known corporate vtubers have their identities known for a long time now, they're almost all workaholic introverted shut-ins who stream and make cute noises for money and stay apolitical. It's so harmless. The English indie vtubers who are essentially woke twitter jumping on the vtuber bandwagon would be the main source of entertainment but they're so insignificant with no audiences I have trouble caring.

I highly doubt Null is gonna use this as a purge thread because I've always seen him as a more reasonable and intelligent person than that. "Purge threads" are the kind of shit the gay emo trannies who infiltrated /cow/'s moderation team years ago would do. However, just in case this really is a purge thread and I've accidentally marked myself for crucifixion, I'm gonna have to speak my peace on this issue or I'm not gonna feel good about the situation.

Keep in mind, I actually like Null a lot as a person but this has been in an elephant in the room for me since I started posting here regularly:

People have speculated that the reason Josh hates gayass anime shit isn't because he's a crusader for child's rights or he really believes loli/shota is child porn or whatever. The reason (*alledgedly) it makes him so viscerally disgusted he has to contemplate nuking a 1k page thread full of weebs is because he used to collect and *alledgedly) furiously masturbate to cartoon catboys (or "Neko OwO Shota") years ago, around the time was still virgining. The logs showing this in detail were on ED but it got nuked hard, but people passed it around on /cow/. Josh used to get really mad and upset when you brought it up and would either disengage from the conversation or try to change the subject, only further adding to how guilty he looked. I'm open to the idea that maybe there was an innocent explanation, like if he was framed or it was a misunderstanding, but that's the situation as I understand it.

Now, would I actually give a shit if any of that is true? Not even slightly. It wouldn't make much of a difference in how valid/not valid his arguements are, and he's allowed to have whatever goddamn content he wants on his site and the right to refuse to publish whatever content he damn well please. I just find it troubling that he seems to hate anime to the point where he gets visibly disgusted and uncomfortable at naked anime girls of any kind, even the fully grown big booby MILF milky lady kind, which is beautiful and pure. I also find it troubling that if this is true, that means him saying cartoons are child porn (which is confusing, because you're missing a key ingredient there) and weebs should be hung is absurdly, cartoonishly hypocritical.

Like I said, Null strikes me as a smart, reasonable guy. I don't think he's gonna tard out and nuke the entire board because of gay anime shit. But I gotta open up about this shit just in case, or I'll feel like I cucked out on my own principles.

All I'm saying is when Jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" he didn't mean "you're perfect, throw those rocks!"

Joking aside, actually thinking he'll purge this thread is failing to acknowledge that, not only has the thread been under the radar for a year already, there's an almost equally-degenerate thread over in Anime & Manga has been in operation for going-on-six years now. I'd expect shitposting but not a purging. Besides, he, the man who operates a forum which has told the actual kiwis to fuck off, should know that getting mad at the Internet is one of the least productive things he could actively do.

I suspect that a good deal of people find this stuff off-putting, if not distasteful. These vtuber characters are the standard anime "totally not a child cause of the big tits, despite the face and behaviour", and that combined with the risqué subject matter of the streams/thumbnails does lead people to put two and two together. The majority of people don't watch anime and aren't 'used' to the young looking characters.

Me? I-I'm just here wondering what the fuck this craze is all about.
