Back from my spring snowboarding trip. Still no China Flu symptoms after driving all across the west coast & intermountain west for almost 3 months straight and even coming with back to America's Babylon (LA) to take breaks between trips. For my March trip I gave even less of a shit about wearing my mask than I did my previous two ones. I also met lots of awesoome and chill people all along the way. One thing I love to see when I go snowboarding during this scamdemic is seeing other like-minded people not giving a shit either and having fun in spite of Branch Covidians trying to ruin all of our lives, whether that be boomer dudes getting ready to go golf (Saw a lot of that in Mesquite, NV), people hauling their ATV's/dirtbikes for fun in the desert, surfers going to the beach, whatever.

Rural California (Inyo County to be specific) is like Idaho and gives no fucks about masks. My favorite restaurant in Lone Pine, CA said with indoor dining back their business is back to the levels they had pre-covid. The hostel I was staying at had this funny and weird dichotomy between the stoners and those who weren't smoking weed. None of the stoners gave a shit about masks, and all congregated in the living room (myself included) watching stupid stoner cartoons and having fun. The mask crowd would instead rather slink around the hostel, not engaging with anyone and doing weird OCD-esque things like wiping down the dining table with rubbing alcohol before sitting down to eat.

For my installment of Vaccine Cringe, here is this video I heard about today. Just reading the lyrics while it is muted disgusts me (especially the line "I don't have to live in fear")

I never thought I would live through a dystopian nightmare but it certainly looks to be the beginning of one. Seeing masks being featured as the "new normal" just feels wrongs. But what really has been bringing me down is what @The handsome tard said. The US (along with other Western countries) has become a nation of cowards. For all the talk of learning from history so not to repeat it, we certainly failed those basic instructions. People would tout how they would be that one guy in the crowd who doesn't salute but ever since this started, I saw them not as that one guy but the crowd. Even though my parish has been returned to limited services for some time there are still other restricts, which has disheartened me since my religion emphasizes not living in fear.

It has been getting harder and harder for me to find a trusted individual I can talk to given how polarizing this all become.

I need a horrifying rating, please (please God). That fucking youtube thumbnail is just nightmare fuel to me. On the left is pure diabolical soy, and on the right looks like she just found her Lord and Savior. I would need a couple of stiff drinks to make it more than 15 seconds through that video.

All this information is basically empty fear-mongering without any studies on whether or not catching the P.1 variant actually means you are more likely to die and any information on how Brazil lists its COVID deaths.

I think some Chinese scientists did make an AI, but the AI quickly deduced that China sucks, and the whole project was immediately canned by the CCP.
