If you clearly don't have the package ready for pick up, why are you wasting their time on the phone to begin with? (I know the answer - see below).

I don’t understand why he immediately throws packaging away. In the first place, he returns or sells shit all the time. In the second place, he and his family bitch about the neighbors enough to make me suspect they live in a shadier part of Greensburg. Anyone with sense doesn’t go advertising their purchases in the trash.

He has no intention of sending it back. He's trying to get them to refund him and he keeps it.

Except the driver is a UPS driver, not an Amazon driver. Haven't heard anything about UPS drivers pissing in bottles.

The process is that UPS will drop you a box and a shipping label (you select this option on the Amazon returns window). You can then contact UPS to pick it up when you've packaged the item up. While I would not be surprised if mamma gags said that verbatim, Lou is probably just projecting here but really what baffles me is that despite having a awful relative Lou still manages to be worse than him, it really is impressive that every time I start feeling bad for mamma gags or really anyone in that household (minus the poor kid) they always surprise me, I really think that there is no hope for any of them.

I believe that the only possible good outcome/redemption arc we can have is if Lou get arrested which really is not that unlikely to happen, that is if he manages to not get killed by his cellmates for being annoying.

I've been away from this thread for a while, mostly focusing on real life stuff and a few other threads that have piqued my interest lately. But, oh, how comforting it is to return and see... That nothing at all has changed. Our lives can be chaotic, unplannable nightmares, but we will always have the constant that is Lou. That first one has me scratching my head. Why is he responding to an old article that discusses issues he has ZERO experience with? Lou is 1. Not a woman, 2. Does not earn money, 3. Does not have nor has ever had a boyfriend or husband.

Also, his take is 100% wrong. There IS anxiety around women being the higher earner in a relationship, and it CAN cause problems. As someone who earned significantly more than my last boyfriend, it caused issues and was eventually why I left him. He was also just the worst.

It's hard to say but I think this is the model he bought, afaik it fits the price range and has a similar wifi card, now if I'm correct then he bought a supposedly weaker laptop than his gaming one for no reason and I bet that he doesn't even have a wifi6 (ax) router to begin with.

And btw:

If by "not having a box" he meant "I threw away the box that the laptop came with, not the packaging" than he fucked up and will not be able to return it.
