Gator's back to actually tweeting instead of just re-tweeting. Hmm, I wonder what was the point of this tweet?
This is my favorite thing Gator has ever said or done now.
The dumb nigger literally has the formula in the screen shot (1 troy ounce = 31.1 grams) and still tries to say I'm selling 1 gram coins
This is additionally funny because he's quoting me from my announcement post with the final price:
But he apparently neglected the very first sentence.
Like, there's no excuse. The only thing I can think of (other than deliberate misinformation to see what sticks) is that he knew that silver was about a dollar a gram thanks to the recent /biz/ noise about boomer rocks. Then, without even taking a nanosecond to check if I'm selling a gram or an ounce, rushed to check the spot of a gram, and just assumed that the markup of what I was selling was over 5000%.
But even that doesn't make sense. He knows the quote for striking a round ($6). But he apparently doesn't know how big a gram is. Let me elucidate the difference between a gram and an ounce.
The left is silver. That's a 250g bar, approximately 8toz (8 rounds). It's worth about $250. It fits in the palm of my hand.
The right is gold. That is a sheet of twenty individual 1g rounds. They're worth about $55 each. They are smaller than my fingernails.
This is how much of a mutt Gator is. He can't even conceptualize a gram. He has no idea how fucking small or big a gram of silver would be. Despite being someone interested in finances and precious metals, he apparently has never even seen them in person to draw a frame of reference for it.
SAD.
(p.s. if you're wondering why I got a bunch of 1g rounds instead of a proper 1toz round, it's because I got them right at the start of COVID before we knew what it was and decided if society collapsed it'd be more prudent to bribe people with $55 of gold instead of a full ounce.)
