"For 6 months or less, herbal medicine isn’t the safest route, and most types of health food supplements aren’t either. However, homeopathy is very safe and that’s the number one type of natural medicine I recommend for 0-6 months.⁣"
"Kids get sick, it's inevitable. It is not a matter of IF rather, WHEN! Even the healthiest of children will catch a cold at some point and as “Doctor Moms” I love to teach you how to be prepared and well-equipped!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here is a list of 5 natural medicines I want EVERY “Doctor Mom" to know. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿1. Homeopathic Belladonna: When your child’s fever comes on suddenly and your child’s face is red think of Belladona which can accelerate the healing process. Within 15 minutes you may see a decrease in your child’s temperature and irritability. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿2. Homeopathic Chamomilla: When your child is inconsolable and nothing seems to make him or her better, think of Chamomilla. Most often these kids are teething or experiencing unexplained discomfort. Within 15 minutes you may see your child calm down and comfortable.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿3. Homeopathic Arnica: When your child takes a fall that may cause bruising or pain, think of Arnica. Within a few minutes, you may see your child go from tears to a big smile asking for more Arnica! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿4. Elderberry: When your child is showing any early signs of runny nose, cough, earache…. or you name it… think of Elderberry. This is an herb that fights viruses and the earlier you start the more effective. Within days you may see your child avoid an illness all together!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿5. Vitamin D3: A nutrient EVERY child should be taking from day 1 of life. If mama is nursing she can safely take 6400IU per day which provides enough for her needs and babies. If given directly to baby, safe amounts are 400-800IU for children under 12 months. Vitamin D helps prevent illnesses and is best with daily use over time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

From the FDA:
"Do not give belladonna to a child without medical advice.
Belladonna can cause serious side effects in babies or young children, including constipation, breathing problems, agitation, and seizures."
"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced today that its laboratory analysis found inconsistent amounts of belladonna, a toxic substance, in certain homeopathic teething tablets, sometimes far exceeding the amount claimed on the label. The agency is warning consumers that homeopathic teething tablets containing belladonna pose an unnecessary risk to infants and children and urges consumers not to use these products."
"Arnica : If eaten, the actual herb is toxic to the liver and can be fatal."

She has her own fake pharmacy:
"Med School for Moms uses an online store called Fullscript where you can order our recommended medicine products to be shipped to your home. "
To get dosage information your required to buy her $37 book.

As mentioned before she has stated to give children belladonna and arnica. Add to this we have:
Pulsatilla : a toxic plant. Misuse can lead to diarrhea, vomiting and convulsions, hypotension, and coma.
Arsenicum Album : If made wrong it is pure arsenic.

She offers 4 courses: Mindset $147, Medicine $247, Mastery $347 & Vaccines $247.
Vaccine Course gives you : "A comprehensive pre and post detox vaccine protocol she shares with every patient, including dosing starting at 2 months of age "

Arnica gel works well for bruises and muscle soreness and chamomile calms you down. Belladonna on the other hand, is fucking toxic.
Edit:
Re: "Naturopathic doctors"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naturopathy#Practitioners

https://www.calnd.org/scope-of-practice

California naturopathic licensure requires (1) proof of having graduated from one of the four-year accredited naturopathic medical colleges, (2) a passing NPLEX score, (3) completion and submission of application for California licensure, which may be obtained from the Bureau of Naturopathic Medicine in Sacramento, CA. Licensure does not currently require passage of California specific board exams. Residencies are not a current requirement.

Godfuckingdamn I hate this state. I wish I could leave.

Edit: Schedule II drugs also include most opiate pain medications as well as stimulant ADHD drugs like Adderall and Ritalin. But the way they're intimating that the drugs they can't prescribe are OMG ILLEGAL ANYWAY is hilarious.
So if my local Midew decides to get certified as a 'naturopath', he can prescribe me ibuprofen and strong yarrow tea? Based.

Ahh. It was in a liquid vial seemed it was to be taken orally, but she paywalled all info on HOW to use the medications. Just said dosages were in millileters which to me means orally.

What the fuck? I've never heard of drinking arnica for bruises or muscle soreness. Surely she means to direct people to apply the oil topically!

Made an account on her pharmacy to get info:

She advices to use Clark's rule for under 2 years old:

Arnica montana is available in a multi-dose tube, with approx. 80 pellets. Arnica montana 3X to 30X - 3C to 30C HPUS
Adult and children 2 years of age and older: Dissolve 5 pellets under the tongue 3 times a day until relieved or as directed by a doctor.
Infant: 1 to 2 tablets.

Jesus. I work in the engineering field and the words professional engineer cannot be anywhere near your title or any advertisement material. The state will VERY quickly shut you down. It’s one of the few limits on free speech in America. How the fuck are these quacks able to hold themselves out as doctors.

It's fucking appalling. They can call themselves "doctor" with a FOUR-YEAR DEGREE in fucking WOO (and note there are tons of people who sperg about those with doctorates calling themselves doctor - which is perfectly cromulent thanks). They're allowed to DIAGNOSE and prescribe meds schedule III and under. With a BACHELORS DEGREE IN BULLSHIT.

I know that naturopaths can sometimes get confused with osteopaths but the best PCP I've ever had was a DO and osteopaths are actual doctors. Naturopaths are con artists - much like Robyn herself being a "nutritionist" which is a title that requires no accreditation. If you want nutritional advice? Go to a REGISTERED DIETITIAN.

The word "pellet" is telling. It's homeopathy bullshit.

Edit: The "dosages" are in HPUS, which is a homeopathy thing. AKA complete and total nonsense.

I would trust any mide over a naturopath, ojiwaaman.

My family doctor is a DO, and a darned good one, too.

I really enjoyed Dr. Paul Thomas' You Tube channel, and it's a tragedy that he's been shut down. I had not read his book and didn't know until I heard about him losing his license that it's actually an anti-vaccine screed. I should see if my local library has it, because I'm curious. He really has a great rapport with kids and parents; if only he wasn't anti-vax! The Oregon medical board on him is a doozy.

Because "Doctor" is a type of degree issued by a university, not a medical title.

They probably can't call themselves a "medical doctor" but they can get away with damn near anything else, apparently. I'm honestly surprised that selling things that are advertised and labeled as "medicine" and "recommending medicine" isn't crossing a line, but hey, we wouldn't want to interfere with a kook's right to tell people to poison themselves...

Robyn’s only concern is her “followers” finding other sources of information about her and discovering her woo-home birth nonsense is the reason her daughter is dying and has a massive bloated head.

Basically it’s a lot harder to shill her bullshit if everyone realizes her daughter is so fucked up precisely because of her woo. She wants to use her poor daughter as a way to shill woo not be a shinning example of why to avoid it at all costs.

Thankfully, she really isn’t telling people to poison themselves. She’s telling them to use homeopathic belladonna, etc.

Homeopathy works on the principle that water has memory. You take an ingredient and dilute it, and dilute it, and dilute it, until not a single molecule of the original substance remains. That’s homeopathy. Magic water. Or in the case of homeopathic pellets that dissolve under the tongue, magic sugar pills. That’s all it is.

Yes, because the biggest cause for concern to Luna's ophthalmic health is UV rays, and not the fact that she literally, physically cannot close her eyes. Priorities.
It's also very likely that she's cortically blind. Her vision isn't going to be hurt by the sun being in her eyes. She can't even squint.

I guess even blind people should be aware of the possibility of developing ocular melanoma from UV exposure. There aren't really any "good" kinds of cancer, but ocular melanoma is particularly bad for two reasons: because malignant changes inside the eyeball itself or within surrounding structures such as the retina usually cannot be visualized without specialized equipment, so the cancer is generally very advanced by the time it is detected, and because the optic nerve is like a superhighway on which cancerous cells can travel directly to the skull, brain, and spine. Once melanoma takes up residence in your brain, you're pretty much toast. I will eat my hat if the Empathic Nutritionist knows that one can get melanoma in the eyes. It's all moot anyway, because Luna isn't going to survive long enough to develop any kind of cancer, whether from UV exposure or anything else.

People really do take these woo doctors seriously. People will turn down life saving treatment and go to these nut jobs instead. I obviously can't power level too much on here but my doctor has had a patient die because their family tried to cure his (highly treatable) condition using woo.

Yup, that's pretty much what all "homeopathic pills" you can find at the pharmacy are at all. Even most cheap vitamins are the same way. Barely anything to benefit you, but at least not enough to hurt you. Placebo effect can be strong so people will believe it anyway

Doesn't belladonna get you high as balls? Like watching your walls bleed as your dead grandma yells at you, high as balls?
It can cause delirium and hallucinations, but more significantly, it doesn't take very much to actually fucking kill you.

It is in the same family and shares psychoactive compounds with datura (jimsonweed), which is one of those "not even once" drugs.

The fact they are probly sugar pills is good and all, but remember these people just think belladonna good. You can purchase belladonna seeds on amazon...it's not a very far stretch for them to jump to their OWN instead of buying pills.

Someone's sister at least seems a bit more logical about it all. This is the only post shes ever made about Luna:

Notice how many rich people fall for this too? Case in point: Steve Jobs.
