That's the joke.

I pointed to this video because it's a mild and impartial critic of Jim by a fan. There are a lot of people that got into internet culture because of him. People with no invested interest in the drama are going to create content influenced by his style. Pretending that Jim was a flash in the pan moment that will completely fade is disingenuous.

If a person has an invested interest in either saving or destroying Jim's reputation than they're a retard and the number one reason no one wants to talk about it anymore.

Internet Historian is probably the closest. More jolly-funny than sarcastic-funny though. Barely Sociable is a commentary/deep dive channel that while not humorous in nature is rather good, because it covers things you haven't necessarily heard about a million times before.

I think the cancer is real, but I also suspect that he is making it seem worse than it is in order to get out of making new videos. TBH I don't think it's laziness either, but rather the combination of his annoying, obsessive fanbase and the fact that the internet has changed so much. You can't really make good, edgy content for a small audience who are all in on the joke anymore, there's just too many people and not enough privacy. He probably just doesn't want some weirdo obsessive fan to try to dox him or fuck with him IRL.

I bet he'll nuke the current twitter within this year and either move to a new platform or dissappear for good.

Out side of cancers that can just be removed via surgery and maybe a chemo session after that (some types of skin cancers have an option of a chemo session while under during surgery) , there isn't really a "good" cancer in the fact that chemo will kick your ass even for "good"/easy to treat cancers like Hodgkin's (the chemo cuts though tumors like a hot knife in butter, low chance of getting it again/high recovery rates even when in late stages, etc).

He has already been Doxed and still made videos, I suspect its a Cancer + no real platform (keeps on getting kicked off / demonetization + the "Sweety squad" going form an ironic/parody title/group to "serious" thing + the internet has changed for the worse.

People are being ironic when they called KAP's youtube poops "deep fakes", right? Sentence splicing is not deep faking.
EDIT with additional thoughts: Given there's hundreds of hours of Jim voice to work with, it's perfectly within the realm of possibility to create a SpeechSynthesis Mister Metokur, so that'll be fun when someone makes it happen.

Yes. One thing that always triggered Jim is youtubers/artist/devs turning their back on the fans that made them popular/wealthy. But he also cant troll anyone without his fanboys ruining the fun early.

He's an internet addict. He cannot help himself, like all of us. The answer is simple really and he said it himself a long time ago. With the end TGWTG video series, at the credits, he said he hated doing it. One of his classic series and he said it sucked for him. He just doesn't enjoy making videos that much even if he's talented at it and charismatic.

He likes getting into fights, he likes the banter, he really likes the drama, but come on. Let's be real here, he was the star of IBS. The phrase when something good was happening was "Get Jim on". And despite all that he never made his IBS podcast. He could have easily made a "jimbo arena" podcast like and he would have smashed Warski, Ralph, Tonka in a second. Yet he stood at the sidelines. Even with all that potential money he could have made.

Bottom line, Jim doesn't enjoy making Khantent, and he's in his right to just do what he enjoys imo.

technically what he said was that he didn't like doing it because he was obligated to do it. The subject matter was entertaining, he enjoyed talking about all the dumb exploits and stupid shit the people on the website did, it just threw him off somehow because it wasn't something that he made just because he wanted to make it.

Exactly. Being a content creator means you need to have some semblance of schedule and consistensy even if it sucks for you. That's why I said he doesn't like creating "khantent" for viewers. So he's left doing what he wants when inspiration strikes. I "enjoyed" his corona streams but that cannot support an online following alone.

But he didn't say he didn't enjoy being a content creator, he just said he doesn't like giving his word that he's going to make specific content, it threw him off compared to just making content he wanted to make. I think you're misunderstanding him and reading too deeply into it. But as the months pass, my hopes that he will return also dwindle, and I'm forced to consider your points more seriously, even if I disagree with them.
